Ordered a medium well burger with a lettuce wrap and a soda on my phone. I had to ask the staff for my Diet Pepsi after waiting 10 minutes and watching them stand around. My burger comes and the patty is barely warm and raw. The woman who brought me my burger was the nicest one there.

Normally, we’d see these previous reviews and steer clear. But with over 3 hours to kill, we didn’t even check the reviews.

This is a “Reuben,” lol. Laughably terrible especially for what it costs. Yay airport food. It’s online ordering where it forces tipping before you actually get any service as well. Staff seemed more interested in each other than the customers. Awful.

Confusing when needing to pay at your tablet however as the swipers get confusing and I ended up accidentally paying for the person’s food across from me. A very wonderful server went out of their way to help fix the issue and also get the miscommunication refunded to me right away. Really wonderful service, and the food was delicious.

We were in a great mood when we walked in. Nice looking place, dim lighted, ready to chill before our flight. As we sat there we realized it was order at the table via phone.. ok no big other places have that. So I go to the bar to order ice water because that is not a line item on the menu. Bartender in a rude manner says she will bring it to the table.. ok cool. So we sat… food comes out no drink. So we wait, water shows up and we start with the hummas.. it’s good, no big. Then our meal comes out ( server was a pleasure to deal with) no, really was a good person. Then we start our chx sandwich. Omg what a joke. Burnt and dry chx with a bun from 2days ago. Our good mood turned to (let’s just get home) flight couldn’t come soon enough.. then we found the sports bar next to our terminal and we’re sad we didn’t go there.. now I am waiting for my flight NOT at the restaurant! Longest review ever because I expect way more from New York

The service was very poor, customer service is super bad. We decided to get breakfast in, I ordered cappuccino and the lady brought me the cappuccino on a paper cup, I ask her to bring it on a nice coffe mug since I’m sitting on a table.

If I could give a negative 5 I would. I never received my food after paying with cash. When I questioned the staff it took about 15 minutes for staff to meander over. When asking for money back they stated they have no way to refund my cash. Then they brought out the food cold. They told me if I had to catch my plane just to leave. The waitress then grabbed my coffee and left. I want done with it.

Had a read of the one star reviews before I left this here and all of the ones about them forgetting sides, drinks and add on’s etc are not lies.

Please DONT stop here. I usually give places plenty of time and leeway to fix any issues. It took over 35 minutes to get my meal. When I asked for fresh fries they argued with me about it. Sad to I pay this much money and to get such poor service. Must be the reason they make you pay when you sit down.

Great first impression as I ducked out of the tiresome hustle and bustle of T5 into an oasis of spacious calm where I could take off my face mask and charge my phone. The shift manager welcomed me warmly and ushered me to the back of the dining hall, where I sat by a window flooded with natural light. Ordering by iPad doesn’t bother me at all. I selected a burger and fries and a gin and tonic ($ 56.45 with tax and tip). I enjoyed the complimentary iced tap water. Then something went wrong: the gin and tonic I was served tasted like Windex mixed with Queens tap water and it had no fizz whatsoever! I called out to the shift manager, whose name is Lisbeth, and whom I will now praise lavishly. She listened attentively and went over to the bartender and had the drink remade with Hendricks gin and a sparkling bottled mixer (Fever Tree?). The replacement tasted divine – so much so that I felt I was back in my favourite cocktail lounge in London. The burger and fries were perfectly fine, especially considering this is an airport location. Note to non-Americans: always order American cheese with a burger because it melts beautifully into a hot patty. More advice for non-Americans: customer service in this country is the best in the world by an enormous margin, and if anything is not to your satisfaction mention it to management. They will usually do what it necessary to make you truly happy. God Bless America and also Lisbeth and her team.
