I just moved here a few months ago and decided to take my family out for the night. Almost everything was perfect. The hostess was very kind and sweet, the restaurant was clean and inviting, the food was phenomenal, and my server, well, that’s where the star was lost. His name was Zachary or at least that’s what the receipt said as he never told us his name. Although he was not rude or anything like that he just doesn’t have very many people skills. As it was a Friday night I was prepared for the usual you get from busy nights ( slower cook times, server busy, ect…) after we received our appetizer it took 20 min just for him to clear the table despite him walking past the table several times empty handed. My wife and I both felt he cared more about the other tables he had then he did about ours. Our 10 yr old kept trying to interact with him (in most cases trying to help clean the table lol) and he would smile but in a manor that is almost like trying to avoid acknowledging him. Our menus were left until he cleared the table after we were done with our meal. I was considering ordering a desert but he never asked as server’s usually do. Instead he just hurried and asked if we wanted the check. I would 10/10 recommend this restaurant just not the server.

Good Service. Food was good. Had the grilled meatloaf, onions made the dish, also a ceaser salad. Rolls were tasty with the butter. My son had the chicken fried steak, the sweet potato was really good.

Great food but mediocre service. The hostess and bartender were excellent. My server was polite but missing in actions. I had to repeatedly ask other employees to ask her to return to my table for service. I was told she was relatively new and it showed. She was inattentive not rude. She was sweet but training is definitely needed.

No, wait, if you go a little early. Steak cooked to perfection and awesome peach tea. Very friendly staff who pays close attention to their customers with anticipation, we rarely, if ever, have had to ask for refills, bred, etc.. Once service starts, it doesn’t stop until you leave. The only thing I can complain about is that they don’t wheel me to the car and buckle me in. I guess we’ve been lucky to get great service, but a restaurant is a reflection of a team that keeps the wheel spining, which includes everyone from the bottom to the top.

It has been a long time since my wife and I have been to Logan’s. After the food we received Friday night we both know why. We were passing through and chose this location because there was no wait to be seated. The food choices were enticing but under delivered. I ordered the buttermilk fried chicken and received over cooked chicken. The crust was dark and not very appetizing. The rice for my side was probably scraped from the edges because pieces of my rice we hard and crusty. My wife ordered the beer battered fish. It was a good portion but was tough to eat. The fish was overcooked and not the right consistency. The Mac and cheese side was runny and not seasoned at all. Waitress was on point and served us effectively.

Kuddos to the manager of Logan’s Roadhouse in Waxahachie, TX, for hiring a precious 90-year young man. This sweet soul had a smile on his face while he worked bussing tables and seating people, even though it was apparent he was struggling and exhausted. We had to ask why he was working at his age. We were told the manager lets him work as much or as little as he can, just because he works to pay for his wife’s medications. Management of Logan’s Roadhouse, you have earned our business–and our respect!! (Not to mention our meal was the best one we have had in a good while! Excellent! Excellent wait service, too!) Also, my dietary restrictions are usually an issue at other restaurants, but they nailed it! We will be back–a lot!

Slowest service ever. Food was meh. Walked by the kitchen a few times going to the bathroom and getting up to go find our server, and it was disgusting…..messes of food on the floor. Literally a to-go box dumped over on the floor and Noone ever cleaned it up. Trashcan Literally overflowing. I totally get this is what happens in a kitchen but at LEAST TRY to keep it out of the view of the people eating your food lol.
