Went here for the first time on a Saturday – meeting a friend for brunch. Since it was such a nice day, we sat in the outdoor seating area. It was such a garden, boho vibe in the space with plenty of tables set up throughout the area. Apparently they recently added a couple of items to the brunch menu and I decided to try one of the newer items – the Mexican Street Corn Avocado Toast. I don’t ever order that out for brunch – or in general – as I’m worried I won’t be satisfied/full. But I’m so glad I gave it a chance! (Shout out to the waitress for her recommendation). With the egg added to the order and the toast on the larger side (much appreciated), it actually was filling, fresh with the ingredients and tasty. Along with that, I ordered the Frosted Berry cocktail which was made perfectly.

First off, the atmosphere and decor of Lola’s Garden is great. I went for happy hours a few years ago and was underwhelmed by the food (drinks were delicious though) so I wouldn’t think to come back. I saw the menu for Ardmore restaurant week and was enticed so I decided to give LG’s another shot. I am so glad that I did! Our server Katie was fantastic — very friendly and attentive without being over-attentive. The food was fantastic! The smoked salmon appetizer was very good and the presentation was thoughtful. The frisée salad was delicious and fresh. For entrees we split the halibut and the chicken. Both were very very good. All of the ingredients in each dish went perfectly together and elevated simple proteins while still making them the focus. I am huge fan of squash blossoms — I would have been happy with a whole plate of just those. The drinks we had were also delicious. All of the other dishes on the menu also sounded so good so I definitely plan to come back.

Wonderful food after they revamped, and hired a new chef! Great experience with our waitress Carli too. Highly recommend the Tuna crudo & deconstructed cheesecake!

Lola’s Garden is in a great location and had a nice atmosphere… however, the food was horrible. There were five of us, and no one finished their plate. The omelet that I ordered is pictured below. Very unpleasant. My mother ordered shrimp and grits. The menu did not fully give the ingredients of the “relish” added to the dish, which had slice walnuts. What if she were allergic to nuts!!! My daughter’s French toast was soggy and mushy. There are no real vegan options either. The server had a slight attitude at first, but she redeemed herself. The coffee tasted like crushed aspirins!!

Great outdoor space and good service. Breakfast/brunch food didn’t have me dying to come back. The charred broccollini omelette was my favorite. We also had the mushroom omelette and chorizo fritatta. FYI.. as of my review, there is a 3% employee benefits charge.

This is a hard review to write because there was a big disparity between the quality of the food and the service.

I greatly enjoyed the comfortable and casual outdoor space with great food and excellent service on a nice April evening. There’s a convenient large parking lot a block away from the restaurant, and plenty of nice shops in the square near the restaurant.

One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Everything was fresh, creative, flavorful… I can’t say enough about the food. The squid ink reginette was one of the best-prepared and seasoned dishes I’ve had probably ever. And Carli took great care of us and paced our table so that we got everything we wanted, but never felt rushed even though she knew we were on a timeline to make a show. Overall phenomenal experience and well-worth the hour drive from home. Can’t wait to return.

Corner of a shopping street this restaurant is a clean and casual place to stop while shopping. Across from Eileen Fisher and around the side from Lululemon. They have Parisian style street seating and a full outside dining platform. Cocktails were nice and food was good. Only thing stopping this rating from 4 stars was the staff being a bit slow. Otherwise they were friendly. I’d go here for cocktails, snack, or brunch when in the area but wouldn’t seek it out.
