First off, the Guac was FANTASTIC; it was so fresh and so simple, exactly how Guac should be. I basically ate the whole cup of Guac before I even looked at my bowl. The Bowl was delicious, the Al Pastor meat had a lot of flavor and the bowl as a whole was the perfect flavors and size.

This is the winning formula on a good Mexican restaurant. The steak on my quesadilla was nice and tender. And tasted great. The salsa bar was amazing they are labeled by heat and name. I loved that. The place looks expensive but the price is pretty reasonable compared to other restaurants. I think chips and salsa was less than $3 totally worth every penny though. The service was quick and efficient. My quesadilla was on my table by time. I gathered up enough salsa from the bar. 10/10 would recommend

They make their tortillas by hand here. I had the lengua and pastor tacos. They were superb! The sauces are delicious too. Everything tastes fresh and flavorful! My new favorite taco joint! Not pictured is the fish taco I ordered after I scarfed down these two tacos.

Sooooo Good! Couldn’t get a photo of my gringa de pastor quesadilla because it was super delicious. They used freshly sliced sweet pineapple and perfectly ripe avocados! Perfect combo of real authentic Mexican and Tex mex.

Love the food and the atmosphere! Food was delicious. Ordered 4 tacos and a chicken tamale with beef quesadille. A bit more than what I usually pay for tacos amd such but overall still amazing food quality.

Had tacos, 1 of each (almost). Carnitas was the best, but all around good, and well priced. The tacos are quite big. Service was quick and friendly, and the place is clean. Staff wearing masks all around, which is great!

Food is WAY overpriced for what you get and lack of quality. Not the best in the Tampa Bay area, but passable for people who aren’t familiar with authentic Mexican cuisine or TexMex or Southwest from NM, AZ or mtn states of CO and NV. Everything was made to order, that is a plus but it was a disappointment to think we waited that long to order and to receive what we did and couldn’t finish and didn’t want to take with us. I added to my review after sitting at Ruen Thai next door with wife and friends marveling at how Lolis is still in business, especially since there’s an authentic TexMex full service restaurant west on Gandy Blvd. That place is family owned and operated and not a chain.
