Had a good experience at this place. Really love the vibe and atmosphere. Our first two dishes were good. We sent the third back, but the waitress was very kind and did not charge us. Take it from us, listen to the waitress recommendations! We weren’t a huge fan of the fried chicken (our last dish not pictured) but it was ok. We would say we were missing the spice and the flavors weren’t as prominent as we were hoping based on previous reviews, however it was still a good experience overall!

After hearing so much about this place and it being only a ten minute walk from our hotel, we decided to give it a try. We loved that the hostess and waitress gave us a thorough explanation of the origin of the recipes/dishes. We ordered a total of eight dishes with the best being the kuey teow bamee and kaeng phet beef shanks. If you are doing reservations, the restaurant prefers it being done online.

I had high expectations for this place and most of the dishes indeed surpassed that. One of the dishes that surprised me and I loved very much was the green mango salad, the coconut cream with the fish sauce was such a great combination. The khao soi gai was good, spice is tolerable. The boo pad pong garee was superb, very well seasoned and not skimpy on the crab portions at all (also one of our favs). We were disappointed with the kaeng phet fak tawng aka the kabocha squash curry it was lacking flavor and overly pretty spicy for us. Interesting cocktails with unique flavors.

Never been to Phoenix and wandered around to find this place. Walked up and knew I was in for something delicious when there were LOTS of reservations. Waited to eat by myself for about 30ish minutes. Staff was great. The food was incredible! Nice vibe to this place and the mocktail was on point. I’m only in town for another week and I’ll be back!

Outstanding! The meal is bursting with an assortment flavors that blend really well together. We got a salad, the tilapia, and the noodles and every single thing we ate tonight was delicious!

This may be our new favorite date spot. The atmosphere inside is very cozy and romantic. The service was top notch. Not only did they know the menu, one of the owners was there to recommend his favorites. We ordered 4 dishes for the two of us. Some of them may have looked small when they arrived but we had more than enough food and plenty of leftovers. The flavors were amazing! The dishes we ordered were on the spicier side bit definitely added to the dishes. We had the fried chicken, soup, braised chicken, and the beef shank curry. All delicious but we will absolutely be back for the soup (and I’m ordering my own bowl). Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

The James Beard award nominations were announced this past week so I jumped on a reservation for Lom Wong. The husband-wife team of nominated chefs created a menu split by Northern and Southern Thailand cuisine. The host was wonderful and we jumped on board his recommendation of the Arai kodai; a tasting menu that he curated for us. Everything was unique and delicious and we enjoyed the jump back-and-forth of different flavor profiles. First up was stir fried curry with crab and jasmine rice… I would go back for that alone over and over again! It blew my mind. Second we had a mango salad with shredded shrimp, coconut cream and lime. Next up was a beef shank in curry paste and coconut milk with a little spice to it. Finally was the fried chicken with sweet chili sauce. For dessert we tried the Creme brulee duo with a Tom Kha savory option and a sweet rozelle for the other. Our cocktails were very interesting as well. Their take on a Pina colada included fish sauce and was surprisingly good as well as our turmeric confused scotch cocktail. Would definitely recommend this spot!

Super friendly host to start. Called ahead to make a reservation. Having a party of six – they gave us a planned out meal with 12 plates to share to not over whelm the kitchen. When the food came out (1st 6 at once and then the last 6 at once later) we were not sure what we were eating because no explanation. The food runner dropped it off saying the Thai name and that’s it. Majority of food was good. The chicken wings were definitely the tables favorite. I would like to come back with someone else and be able to pick exactly what I want to eat. Cocktails were good but wasn’t blown away. Worth checking out.

Easiest 5 stars I will ever give! Stumbled upon this local gem by chance. I’m a moderately adventurous eater (definitely not adventurous, but I am not super picky either). We chose to let our server pick our dishes (a common and offered option) and it was the best decision! Every dish was delicious, flavorful, and authentic! We absolutely loved the green mango salad, the Kerner Orange (Riesling) Wine, and the cocktails! The staff was friendly and created an amazing experience for us. This place is definitely a little spendy, but so worth the experience! Highly recommend!

Owners, Sonny and Alex have created an amazing dining experience! This was our second time back in a month!!! We made reservations ahead of time and both times got there at 5pm when Lom Wong opened for dinner. We ordered a variety of dishes to shared. Savory flavors, authentic spices, and the freshness of the appetizers and meals is what is so uniquely appealing about this place. Lom Wong is known to frequently change up their menu, and therefore, enjoyed trying all new items during our second visit. Our bill was reasonable for the amount of food and drinks we ordered. But, you can certainly have a wonderful dinner for under $50/person. The waiter, Mike was very helpful in explaining the items on the menu and made excellent recommendations. Finish off your meal with a couple of heavenly desserts!
