Ordered from lomelis recently and I gotta say I was very pleased. We got the garbage burrito and the fat girl fries, both of which are delicious but don’t feel particularly Mexican – they’re probably catering towards college students. We also ordered the birria tacos (2 tacos and plus a little bowl of consomé) and wow – they were delicious. I would order the birria again every day of the week if I could. This was seriously one of the most flavorful things I’ve eaten in Plattsburgh. Can’t wait to go back to try the other dishes they offer with the birria.

We’ve ordered Lomeli’s many times! Every time it was amazing, except recently. Unfortunately the last two times we ordered it, we were all so very disappointed. The asada was very dry and had almost no flavor at all both times! I ordered 3 burritos and fat girl fries. We all thought the fries were awful, no flavor just pulled off refried beans. I couldn’t even finish my burrito it was so bad. All I could taste was refried beans in every single bite. Nothing else. What happened?

This place offers a dining section, but is only a take out, you will eat out of the take out container if you choose to eat on site. The selection is OK, the food is OK, the portions are generous… But while waiting in the dining room, we saw flies… more than just one… enough said…

We got a recommendation for this restaurant…. I’m so happy we followed through with going here for dinner. This was an amazing Mexican restaurant. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious! Its a nice cozy place downtown Plattsburgh. Very welcoming atmosphere. The owners were extremely friendly. We got the Sampler Platter and then we got 3 tacos. Everything was very tasty. The dessert, chirros and ice cream was delicious as well. The Mexican drink that they let us try with cinnamon in it (can’t remember the name) was really tasty. Definitely would recommend to anyone.

Discombobulated
I ordered the el gordo and a horchata and it was amazing! The horchata was very sweet and lovely, and the el gordo was just the right amount of savory and seasoning.
