What a wonderful place for a vegetarian/vegan dinner! First off, the waitstaff was amazing and they were so kind and sweet to our dog (who was allowed to sit with us in the outdoor dining area). Wine was nice, tap list was full of good Maine brews. The peanut tofu appetizer was amazingly flavorful and totally worth getting. The tofu banh mi sandwich was incredible, with homemade pickled vegetables and a perfect crusty baguette. The other guests were so nice and came over to pet the dog, and it was a perfect spot for a summer evening!

Really enjoyed the food at Lompoc. Ordered Mussels in a Dijon cream sauce to share and they were delicious. The sauce paired great with the mussels.

We used to frequent the Lompoc many years ago and I’m happy to say it’s different but still the same vibe! The food is excellent the beer lineup is authentic and you can’t go wrong with the Dilly Bean Martini! We came and hung out playing bocce while we waited for our table. So glad this place has stayed true to its roots! Dog friendly too!

I grew up going here as a kid. It was cool to see the newest version of this long-time hangout spot.

I had a $26 steak here, y’all, and it was marvelous! My vegan kiddo also had scrumptious food. The peanut dip is to die for! Photo is view from the window overlooking bocce.

Wanted to eat something in Bar Harbor that wasn’t just a seafood so we found this place. Honestly, disappointed as it felt as if they were trying to be inventive but it fell flat for a lot of the meal. Enjoyed the root veggie salad with roasted carrots and beets, but the southern salad was interesting… with candied pecans and cinnamon sugar on top. I could barely taste the buttermilk dressing. The flavor of the noodle bowl was – in our opinion – not “Vietnamese” inspired. It tasted more like sweet and sour sauce than a pho broth.

We were out getting drinks and had plans for dinner somewhere else, but overheard the bartender talking about the chicken sandwich at Lompoc. After looking at the menu we changed our plans and came here, we are so glad we did! The food was excellent – I especially loved the mussels. I’ll be thinking about that sauce for a while!

From the bocce court to the bar, this place is unique for the town and the state. Ate the kebabs today and they were perfectly cooked by the masterful chef. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Please do yourself a favor and put this as a dinner destination in your future.

The food tasted good – we got the tofu banh mi and the noodles with tofu. But it was way, way too expensive for the quantity of food. We couldn’t believe that (see photo) was the amount of noodles given for a $24 dish, and it was weird that we were given potato chips with a $16 banh mi – for that price it should at least be a little nicer, like sweet potato fries or salad (they upcharge $3 for those options). Also, it was extremely hot inside the cafe (& they ran out of outdoor seating – the bocce court takes up a ton of space outside), and the server literally had beads of sweat running down his face, we felt bad for him.
