Have been here multiple times over the last few years and it’s definitely on the decline. They no longer serve liquor, so maybe they lost their license? Today we had breakfast…I had the burrito which had hard burnt cheese and the beans inside were literally Ranch Style beans. The whole meal was disgusting. They were out of bacon, biscuits, and gravy. The waitress was beyond rude. I’m so disappointed. I hate to see small businesses fail, but this one is definitely not worth giving $ to. I hope something changes so that they can be successful.

Lone Spur Cafe is a great place to grab breakfast in the morning and a drink in the afternoon at the bar. My family and I stayed next door at the Hotel just after Labor Day and we grabbed breakfast on Thursday morning before heading to Rockwood for our train Ride. The portions were huge and tasted great!

Love the ambiance.. the music was great from the piano playing.. Really made for a great eating experience.. definitely the highlight. Service was a little slow as they where overwhelmed with patrons from train but the staff where super friendly. Our waiter was not happy when I tipped 15% but considering I was paying for 5 people.. I technically tipped more I am sure then anyone just dining for 2… did not appreciate his sigh as I selected that option as apposed to the 20% or 22% options.

Food is excellent, would have given 5 stars but the service is slow to start off. But it’s well worth the wait. Staff is friendly but they need some help in there. Don’t regret eating here and will do again.
