Fast service and good BBQ. I tried the special two prime rib sliders. They were delicious. The downfall was the A/C wasn’t working.

Dang Daryl, that specialty Po’ boy is all I think I’ll ever need. Top of the menu choice. Sorry no pic of the Po’ boy wouldn’t do it justice. Ask for it when you get there. The cobbler and ice cream made her smile and giggle like a kid. Best lunch date in a while.

I had the brisket and turkey. The turkey had a good smoke flavor but was barely warm. The brisket was cold and seemed like it had been setting out awhile. The beans were okay and the potato salad was mustard based. The sweet tea was good. Staff was very friendly.

They make you feel welcomed when you walk in the door with a “welcome”. Yesterday went by ordered catfish which was delicious. The only thing was waitress must have been new bc couldn’t speak English well and didn’t come by to ask if I needed anything. Which I did I wanted lemons, Tabasco and plastic utensils. Other than that good.

Amazing bbq. The homemade buns are buttery and sweet, their fries seems to be cut fresh, and they have a one of a kind sauce. I have never been disappointed. I enjoy their chopped brisket sandwich and their potato.

Haven’t been here in years. Waiter was ok, didn’t keep up with our drinks, didn’t ask if we needed anything. Food was dry, sorry didn’t take pic, ordered the 2 meats. Chicken and brisket, white piece chicken very dry, I’ve had other white chicken and been moist. Brisket was ok, was hungry but didn’t finish it either. sorry for the survey.

The food here is first rate and the staff is always courteous. I’ve tried almost every dish here but my go to choice is the chicken sandwich with the best fries in town. The sandwich is piled high with pieces of chicken and the thick buttered fat bun is delicious!

Very good service, the food was good beans needed to be hot not a fan of luke warm ranchero pinto beans, just my opinion. It had good flavor in the beans and all the food. Potato Salad, was ok just overpowering with mustard. I know people love it. Again it’s just an opinion, I have always loved their food

I have been coming to Lonestar bbq for years and today was the first time that my lunch was FORGETTABLE! What happened to your quality? It’s way more expensive, of course but NOT better. The ribs had no smoke (that’s bbq), they were not as tender as before and taste like they were boiled and lathered with bbq sauce. The rice and beans mix was not as good as before. The lemonade was outstanding. That’s it. Very disappointed! You are better than this.

Haven’t been here in years and decided to stop by for lunch today. Service was good. Food was okay. My rice and beans were cold and y’all did not have regular sodas like Dr Pepper or regular coke. Only Mexican sodas and iced teas
