Really good food, everything was either hot or crispy or both! The 2 guy servers were buzzing around super attentive and busy, unfortunately we didn’t get those servers. But still worth the stop. Be sure to ask for bread rolls, they don’t just bring it to the table. Had the chicken fried steak, very pleased. Pro Tip: get the sweet potato fries and dip them in their sweet butter

Great place for comfort food. I’ve always enjoyed coming here. This time I had the Lone Star Cheeseburger and it was good. It was a good size and had good flavor. The fries were pretty good. The service was very friendly and fast.

Stopped here for a dinner while traveling on 290. It was a cozy place with lot of good options for food. The staff was very friendly. He had couple of Ribeye and a Salmon. Ribeye eye was cooked as we requested and it was awesome. Salmon was also great. They had a good selection of drinks too.

A great atmosphere to eat dinner. They have great food. I started off with fried pickles and they was delicious. I had the chicken fried steak and it was very good. I had a amazing waitress. She never let my tea get empty. The peach cobbler was good and had bluebell ice cream with it. The restrooms was clean. Will most definitely be back!!! Follow me for more reviews!!!!!!!!

Pretty decent place. The food was okay but not great. Everything else was great. All in all, a good little mom and pop local restaurant located right in the heart of Brenham. It was also a bit pricey for what we ordered with small portions. We were also the first customers of the day right at 11 am on a Saturday, so it could have been just a bad time to enjoy the best food when the restaurant was just opening. We will stop back by for dinner one night and try again.

This is a neat little stop some girls and I found on the way to Austin. It advertised as a scratch made kitchen, and the food delivered. It was very good. We had the chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken and chicken tenders. Everyone got Mac and cheese. Two of us got fried okra and one got steamed broccoli. Everything has great flavor and there was plenty of food. Each table had a little plug and USB port to plug in, if needed.

A true gem in the heart of Brenham, TX! Once a K-Bobs steakhouse, Lone Star Southern Grill is an absolute delight. With a charming atmosphere and perfectly cooked dishes, it’s a great choice for a memorable dining experience while in Brenham. The good food, fast service, and cozy atmosphere make it a definite 5-star destination. Chicken Alfredo is a must!

Cozy place, despite the lack of staff to serve, we were attended to quickly, we asked for mozzarella sticks for starters, it was good. but the cheese felt cold, the sauce that came with it was great. the hamburger was good, but the potato came out cold, and the okra was looking a little stale. The flavors were good, I just think the ingredients needed to be fresh.
