Had a bad experience. My girlfriend and I were seated in a timely manner. That’s the best part of our dining experience there. Once we ordered our food we watch as several tables around us started getting up and either leaving or moving to a different part of the restaurant. The reason, the heat didn’t work in our area of the restaurant. The people who stayed in the area were bundled up as if they were going sledding. It is February by the way. Valentines day. Anyway, our waitress took our order and forgot to submit it, probably because of everyone moving out of her section to the warm side. She apologized because we had already waited an hour for our food and blamed it on the kitchen staff. We received our food and was not pleased at all. The salad my girlfriend got wasn’t prepared properly. The lettuce seemed to be fresh from a bag and there were ingredients missing. My dish included shrimp which was burnt. Not overcooked, burnt. When we got the check I had to wave our waitress down to take our money, she was flirting with a kitchen staff member. The look I got from her was as if I was a bother. I left a tip only because I know (I’ve owned restaurants before) they don’t make much money.

We went on Valentines day, and we expected it to be busy. There was a 30 minute wait to be seated, but while we were being seated we saw a bunch of open tables and booths, which means there was no reason for the 30 minute wait. Our waitress was very neglectful to us, we had to keep asking other servers and even the bartenders for things like silverware and napkins. We got our drinks the same time as our appetizer came out. Our waitress sucked but the food was delicious.

Very disappointed, called a day ahead with a reservation of 17 people last week and the service was bad. We arrive and sat right away but no complimentary bread was offer to us. We actually had to ask for it and then they brought it out after we place our dinner orders. We only had two waitresses helping and they came around to take the orders and did not check with us to see if we needed anything while we were eating. Two orders took forever to come out and they were only for chicken nuggets and loaded cheese fries which was for the kids. The steaks were hard but did not say anything because all I wanted was to hurry up and leave. I would of understand if they were busy that night but that was not the case. Unfortunately will not be going back.

Pretty decent food, seems like good wait time every time after we order our food. Even went there on a Friday evening with a huge group of friends and four of us wanted to order the Porterhouse 20oz Steak…but they were all out. How does a “steakhouse” not have their top selling steak on a Friday NIGHT?! And their prices for beer, not draft but a bottle is ridiculous.

Went here to have a dinner on our way home from vacation. The table we were sat at was dirty when we sat down, the men’s bathroom was disgusting according to my fiancé, it stunk and was gross. We were told it is checked every hour, but he said there was no way it was clean an hour before and was worse than the worst truck stop bathroom we saw on our trip. Left before we got our food, but soup and salad had been delivered. French onion soup looked like it sat under the grasshopper for about 3 seconds, and did not look appetizing at all. It was overpriced, the floor sounded like it was coming apart as you stepped on it. There was an entire table by the bathroom that had dirty dishes on it and it was obvious that they had been there for awhile. The women’s bathroom was somewhat clean, but you could tell that the floor had not been mopped properly in quite some time (corners were caked with dried dirt). The floor in the kitchen was obviously caked with grease. McDonald’s kitchens are actually cleaner. Appeared clean from afar but close up was disgusting.

Wasn’t very impressed right from the get go. Went there on August 21, 2015 with my spouse and in-laws. The greeter at the front door took like 4 tries to get the last name spelled right. Then, it was like the waitresses were competing to serve our table. One came and took our drink order and then, another came and started setting up the table. Then, we had a pretty long wait for our food. I had a Caesar salad with my meal and they brought that out first. So, I felt awkward being the only one eating. I was able to eat the entire salad and waitress come take the dish away before our food came. Then, they mixed up something with my mother-in-law’s order and she had to wait even longer. They brought her out a salad so she would have something to eat. Then, they brought her main salad order with chicken in it (which is where they made the mistake and had to grill the chicken). My father-in-law ordered a steak medium and that was a bit overcooked. And, me and my spouse ordered fish & chips and there was hardly enough tartar sauce for the 3 pieces of fish. The waitress and manager both came to our table and apologized for mixing up the salad order and, the manager gave my mother-in-law a free appetizer coupon…. big deal. My spouse also said the men’s bathroom seemed very dirty. Pretty certain we won’t be going back there anytime soon!

2 sets of customers complained about the food before we even got ours. The building was cold and not comfortable. The margarita was not good. We were afraid to get a steak and settled for burgers. Mine was lukewarm why my wife’s was warm. We won’t be back.

Typical Lone Star experience; Mediocre steak. Overpriced. Slow service. Would have gone to Red Lobster if they weren’t so busy (now I know why Lone Star had immediate seating). I was here the first week of October ’12, and was with a huge party of me, myself, and I. Took about 1.5 hours, from the time I made it to my seat, to the time got my check. Waited to place my order. Waited for my salad. Waited for a Coke refill. Waited for my steak, which was over-cooked, tough and dry (NY Strip). Waited for check delivery. Waited for bill pick-up. To top it all off, the manager expedited my steak, AND bussed the dirty plates! Not sure why I tipped the waitress??? On the good side, the baked potato was the highlight of the show. I think it had been in the holding oven since noon, was well done, and had a crispy crust just beneath the skin. Had the pre-scooped butter not tasted like a rancid refrigerator, the potato would have been perfect! BTW & FYI…I have been to this chain’s sister restaurant “Texas Land and Cattle”…same problems there. Enjoy, but plan to wait.

My date and I tried the Lone Star on Friday night last week. It was not too busy, just after 8:00 PM. We both ordered the bacon wrapped filet mignon and specified medium rare….when our food came the waiter asked us to check our steaks….that should have been our first hint of trouble….
