This was by far one of the most pleasant places my husband and I have ever been too! We came here tonight for our one year anniversary and the food was absolutely phenomenal, Dorothy took amazing care of us and was so polite. We had dinner there, no problem making and honoring reservation on time. They serve you delicious bread to start your meal. We ordered the calamari for an app and they gave us plenty. The app was very good. We ordered fried shrimp/scallops as well as broiled shrimp (this was the best!). The dinners were so delicious. Honestly they give you too much food since you get 2 sides and almost all the options are carbs. The mashed potatoes were great but the grits were more like a corn pudding, not smooth but had large bits. The only advice I would give is to add an option of a salad as a side. Overall 9/10 and highly recommend!

This past Friday my husband and I sat at the bar. We asked about a long time local who used to eat there every night. We were told she was in a local assisted living facility. They offered us some peanut butter pie (which was her favorite) to take to her. We picked it up the next day and delivered her the pie. She was beyond grateful! She was so thankful for the visit and more thankful for the love she received from her favorite restaurant. Thank you Terry! We will be back soon.

We made a reservation for 5.30 p.m. on a Tuesday. We were seated promptly. After being walked by many times by the wait staff, 15 minutes into our experience we had to stop one of them to explain we would like some water, and would like to order a drink. Someone brought us water. Ten minutes later, we still didn’t have our drinks, and no opportunity to order any dinner. As we stood up to leave, then someone ran over to us and asked us where our drinks were. That person told us “I’ll wait on you myself”. Sounded a little too much like a favor? We said we didn’t care to stay after waiting for 25 minutes with a reservation, no less. The food looked awesome that people near us were getting. Also, when you look for the restaurant, don’t look for a big, stand-alone restaurant… it’s in a strip shopping center. Just a bad night for them and us I guess. It happens.

Awesome spot to eat with friends at the beach. The professional staff made us feel like family right away. Fresh bread and appetizers came out quickly. Oysters were delicious! Generous entree portions. Only regret was not ordering the calamari… Next time!
