Ever order your favorite meal somewhere, and then regret it? Well, I did. If you like your eggs Benedict traditional, don’t order them here. The Hollandaise had too much lemon, and of all things they added dill to it. Two meals, a side of bacon, and a half side of biscuits and gravy. The gravy had no sausage in it, and tasted like it came out of a GFS can. Almost $38 for all. It’s edible, but go elsewhere.

We’ve been here a few times. Food is always great. Today, our waitress Ashley literally took the time to bring crayons and paper over for our toddler. Not only that, but when our toddler was getting loud and we were trying to rush out of there, Ashley sat with our daughter and colored with her and played with her, keeping her entertained so that we could finish our meal. Best waitress we’ve ever ever ever had!!!

Went to Long Island Cafe for the first time this morning and loved it! Service was great, the menu was very impressive, I did have a tough time decieding what to get lol! Food was great across the board, all four of us were very happy with our meals. I highly recommend the mimosa flight! Great place, great people!

The American fries were seasoned just right & crisp. The coffee was strong.. The portions were huge, & the waitress Stacey suggested the cinnamon roll pancakes & she was right, they were delicious! Hats off to the cooks. You don’t see many great waitresses these days but she was top notch. She knew the menu front & back, she brought us refills with out having to ask her, she was very busy but we truly felt catered to. While eating we observed her carrying out her coworkers food for them while running circles around everyone! That was great to see. Appreciate a great server when you see one and shout them out because it’s not an easy job. She knocked it out of the park! 10/10 recommend. We will always come back for her, & the food of course! Thank you

Ordered take out for biscuits and gravy, eggs and American fries. A $14 breakfast, plus a tip. Got home, no gravy. I called the restaurant. They were apologetic, but that doesn’t get me what I ordered. I wasn’t in a position to go back. Maybe somebody needs to be checking orders more closely. Very disappointed.

I love eating here! Everyone is pleasant and seems to enjoy their work. The food is excellent and I always take leftover food home. The chorizo meals are really tasty! The menu offers something for everyone. You won’t be disappointed!

Been coming here for a year now, and within the last couple months the prices went up a little and the food portions have gotten a lot smaller. Food is yummy but you don’t get nearly as much as you did before. Service is great and everyone is very friendly

Not one to be intimated by eating a long or being the only person of color in a restaurant, I decided to go to the long Island for breakfast. I had beacon, eggs, cheesy grits and toast. It was delicious . Since then I’ve been back several times. It’s the best cafe in Battle Creek people.

The food is generally good, but this place is so unorganized the 2 times my family has been here. The entance is not big enough to handle the crowd and it’s a cluster. Then you get seated before 2 other tables & they get service before you. Doubtful that we’ll ever be back. The place echos when it’s packed & makes it hard to enjoy your meal.
