The GM Reagan was wonderful super sweet. We loved talking with her. The other staff was great as well. Restaurant was clean and food was delicious. We ate dinner then the next day ordered to go. Looking forward to coming back next time we are in town.

I was going thru the drive thru and I was a little confused by the direction and the way the drive thru was marked. The cashier was very friendly and she went out of her way to help me. I had ordered a fish and more and they told me it would be a ten minutes wait on the fish and I said that I would wait. I then parked and they brought it to me five minutes later and it was piping hot. I tried a little piece before I left the parking lot and it tasted delicious. I got to sit down and eat it ten minutes later in which I was very disappointed for the quality of the food. I think the oil is different and even though I was hungry, I couldn’t finish it.

The food was fantastic and the service speedy and accurate. The only knock is the drive thru. It’s on the passenger side and if you come through as a single, it’s a difficult situation. I went inside the second time because it was too much to deal with.

I ordered a fish and chicken platter w side of clams. All my food was very greasy. All tasted the same like old grease. The drive thru was almost a joke to get in and out of. I have never seen a drive thru where u enter one way and have to turn around to get to the window. I gave it a 1 because the man was very nice. I was just traveling through so I was unable turn around and return my food. Very disappointed.

Normally we don’t have issues but yesterday we had several. Waited over 20 minutes for our food then was told it would be another 3 and after that it was still 10. She gave us free drinks after the first 20 minutes but the tea was terrible. First they were just busy then it was we are waiting on hush puppies then it was fresh fish. Pretty sure if they had stopped pulling cars up and just caught themselves up they would have been fine. She said there were only two people working. It’s a shame that they even did that to the employees. The food however, was fresh.

Went there tonight for the first time in YEARS madisonville location. Ordered a shrimp bowl with two pieces of chicken OTS through drive thru. Was there for an hour and got my money back. Not enough workers or not trained well. Worker said the manager had already cussed her twice. It took them so long to even tell me I won’t be able to get what I ordered and couldn’t even order something else because they were so behind. Wouldn’t answer phone to place to go order either.

Only people there at opening at approximately 10:45, was told they were not open yet although the website said it opened at 10:30. Left came back after going across the street to get kids something to drink, ordered, still only customers there,paid, was asked to pull up. ????? Waited at least another 20-25 minutes, we live 18 minutes away, got home and yet our food was WRONG!! Despite our long wait and being the only customers there!!! I have been going to LJS since I have been little, now am 47, I think I will to Captain D’s And when I called back to address the issue with the lady she argued with me . Last visit I ordered 2 meals with lobster bites. I had to wait, was forgotten for about 45 minutes and get home with no lobster bites or the 2nd sides. Just fries and fish. Tonight I went through drive thru at 6:40pm and was told there wasn’t any Mac and cheese because they were closing early (8pm). I ordered fish and chips and a fish and chicken dinner. Got home to eat the food and the chicken is undercooked. Inedible. Fries are cold and fish has been setting. I have tried to call and no one ever answered the phone.
