Unfortunately can’t leave zero stars. Fish breading was wet and slimy, inedible. Fries were old and cold. Corn looked disgusting and slimy. Drink was horrible! No wonder LJS are closing down everywhere. Avoid this location unless you’re interested in wasting time, money and enjoy disappointment.

It was Friday in Lent so finding this place was good. 2 fish tacos plus a side of green beans cost 9.99. The fishing the tacos was torn apart and SMOTHERED in some kind of Sriracha and the green beans tasted like a sweet drink had been splashed in them. Yucky. I was asked about sauce and then got NO tartar anyway…smh

Last year, I went to the Long John Silver’s in Centerville, OH. I was craving fried fish and hush puppies. Unfortunately, when I ate my food, I felt like I made a horrible decision. It was Gastly and each bite just released grease and oil. The pieces of fish were soggy and just disgusting .I never wanted to go back to a Long John Silver’s. This year, I am taking part in Lent. So I went to this Long John Silver’s in Springboro, OH to give another try. I ordered grilled shrimp. To my surprise….it actually tasted good. Just yesterday, I went there for the third time and I ordered coconut shrimp and some fish planks. It was fantastic. The shrimp had great flavor and the fish was crispy and hot. The food tasted like it should….good! It didn’t make me regret my choice to eat there. I asked for the manager and the owner. I gave both of them a great compliment and I was never so proud to ring that bell at the door three times. I hope that other Long John Silver’s pay attention to this review because I have seen several Long John Silver’s restaurants close. This is one that I would like to see open and continuing to produce fried and grilled seafood the proper way like they are doing now. I will definitely be returning this coming Friday for more fish. Keep up the great work!

We went thru the drive thru and ate in our car. I got the fish and shrimp platter, it tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. The hushpuppies were good, we didn’t get our Cole slaw, and the drive thru worker was rude. Guess we need to find a new LJS location.
