In need of a seafood fix? It is easy to forget the local fish joint with with the ocean colored, less pretentious fish sign compared to competing signs in red and yellow. This is not the fastest place compared to McDonald’s, Burger King, Taco Bell or even Dairy Queen and Wendy’s. However, where else can you get battered and fried fish (steamed optional) with malt vinegar, tarter sauce, a side of fried shrimp, or hush puppies.The fried food is, well, greasy due to thick batter, but nothing like an occasional indulgence. Flavor is packed from the sea. The fish is large, an average sized adult can handle up to 3 before crying uncle. Young children 5-8 are set with 1 or 1.5 fish and some shrimp. This isn’t cheap food compared to other fast-foods. Expect large portions of hot food for the money and fried fresh while you wait. Make sure to check your bag. I had to run back for sauces, even after asking if they were in the bag. Always check any pickup order anywhere. A friendly reminder. Enjoy!

The past 4 times I have gone to this location they have successfully messed up my order. For giving me diet when I asked for regular, for forgetting the extra piece of fish I ordered, the last time the forgot my side of slaw. And this time the cashier almost forgot to give me my change, I had to ask for it. I love the food but will never be back to this location. Not worth the long (8-10 minute) wait

This place only gets two stars because it was not clean, the staff was not very friendly, and I was literally scared to go in the restroom since the place was dirty. The flavor of the fish and chicken was good, but the crab cake for the special dollar item that day was really overcooked and nasty. At the counter while we were ordering the food we misunderstood what actually came with our meal, and evidently so did the man taking our order so when the food came out I had coleslaw and my husband didn’t and we both ordered the same meal. When we brought this to the woman’s attention she informed us that we only got one side with this meal and that we had chosen french fries, however with my meal I had french fries and coleslaw. I still don’t understand her logic. I absolutely love Long John Silver’s and I will just choose a different location in the future.

Went for lunch on July 4th at the Goshen restaurant. The fish looked and tasted like it was cooked in old grease. The floor was slick and hard to walk on. We were one of the first ones in the restaurant, the dining room needed a good cleaning. My wife and myself don’t plan on returning to this restaurant.

Pulled up to order food said be with you in a min. 10m later after saying hello a different person comes on the speaker stating the drive through employee forgot I was there. Waited another 15 for the food as I saw two employees just chatting away as the other one worked. Horrible experience.

I’d actually give it a negative 1..as soon as I walked in I watched a lady who was training a young girl grab what appeared to be an ice pick off the shelf and poke a hole in a plastic lid of a food container to let the steam out. I can only imagine the germs and bacteria…I got a sweet tea that was anything but sweet and when I told them about it one of the girls told me add sugar..kinda defeats the purpose. Floors and tables were dirty… employees standing around that should be cleaning…poor management. No plans to return…use to love that place.

Stopped in once at 10:45 am and was told they do not open till 11. The front door and interweb both said they open at 10:30 am. Second visit pulled in the drive through at 11:10am and was informed that the oil was not up to temperature. Sadly quite frustrated and went else where.
