We were passing through and saw this on the way to Louisville. On our way home, we decided to check it out. It was the middle of the afternoon, and not many people were there. We ordered one fish and one fish and chicken dinner.

Swung by here and picked up a family meal deal. Everything was cooked correctly bagged well and the order was complete and accurate. The manager was very nice and we had a conversation while I briefly waited for my food. The little lemon cakes are actually quite good too. No complaints here.

Have a 3 year old and he needed to use the restroom…….. a lady came and told me at 2 o’clock the restaurant was closed I explained he’s 3 and has a health condition. To no avail she refused him so I allowed him to relieve himself behind a bush where she began to harass me. I advised her that he was 3 and needed to use it so he was……. She followed me to the dentist office and had a fit!!!!!!! I wouldn’t go there if you paid me for food for ten years…….over people who are relentlessly rude shame on you!

The staff I interacted with were excellent. No issues at all. The food was greasy. Breading not cooked all the way through on my shrimp. Hush puppies were good. Fries ok. The store looks pretty worn and rundown. The chair seats are cracked and peeling. The metal parts flaking. Decor looks very dated. Floor and walls dirty. This was less than an hour after opening. It shouldn’t look that bad. Best part was the staff. Really top notch and very nice. I will say they went above and beyond to get me change so I could buy my meal as I only had a large bill.

I was charged 26 dollars and change for 2 fish and mores and a large sweet tea.the tea cost me 6.18 not right and one of the meals had 2 half pieces of fish and the fish was dry.i will not be back they need to be shut down or get some better workers in there.
