The fish sandwich was only luke warm. Seemed like it had been sitting under warmer for a while. French frries were not fresh either. Good idea to ask for fresh cooked items.

Had not been to LJS in many years but stopped by this location while out one day. The team working was very professional and friendly! Food was just as I remembered (in today’s age of fast food offerings, that is hard to find!). Not only did we ring the bell for old times sake, but we rang it because we enjoyed the visit and experience! Kudos to the team that was working, they delivered an experience you just don’t see often anymore.

We found it quite disturbing to see the fish being dipped in batter then to the fryer with employees wearing NO gloves and the employee that checked us out I guess told them what I said to my hubby about them not wearing gloves and the female employee saying Well, we do not have to wear gloves!!!! It was kinda gross seeing them satisify an itchy nose and dip fish with the same hand!!!!!

It’s one of the better LJS that I’ve been to. It’s clean and friendly. The drive through was fast for us, but we visited off rush hours. Decent selection, the shrimp was good I had not tried theirs before.
