Nice place to eat and a nice change from the usual fast food places. Very nice atmosphere. Food was good. The bathroom seat needed fixing and they need to use different mop water in the eating area of change it out more often cause the floor was sticky. Otherwise I enjoyed this place. Had a nice talk with the manager, he told me about all the collectible mugs in the store. I bought a couple.

I go to this place cause its got the best chicken/fish/shrimp ever around. they have closed down this place where i live so every time we travel to Iowa we stop here to eat. love the atmosphere, the employees are so nice and the owner has always been present when we’ve stopped. If you have the opportunity to stop do it. Its worth your time and money.

Long John Silver’s retreated from my part of the country a long time ago, so I like to stop in while traveling. This is probably the best example that I’ve run across. Everything tasted great, the place was clean, and the woman behind the counter was nice. Glad I found it.

Very good. We got our food fast, it was nice and fresh. I had the L2 – two fish, coleslaw, and hush puppies. Yum! My coworker got the seafood sampler and it looked amazing. I would recommend going to Cresco a&w if you are in the area and need a bite to eat!

I would give 5 stars but the place isn’t what it used to be!!! Meaning that the fountain drinks are always very flat tasting and even the root beer wasn’t very pleasant, I have been going here for many years now and in the last year or so , the place is just starting to go down hill !!! I absolutely love the food … I love the owner to death !!! He’s such a pleasant man and always goes above and beyond!! I don’t see him in there much anymore…
