I have been to several Long John Silver’s. None compared. The fish was great, fresh, and NOT drenched in cooking oil. The hush puppies were crunchy on the outside with tender breading inside. Not the oil sponges other locations served. Highly recommended.

I waited over 15 min to get my food. Although it was hot, it was greasy and they missed the extra crumbles I ordered. Then the coleslaw cup was not even full as was the cocktail sauce. For the $12 I paid they could of at least given me full servings! The young girl at the drive thru was pleasant but seemed lost at doing her job correctly, not sure if they were low on product but i had to ask her for additional condiments because she only gave me 1 package each of what I asked for.I won’t be going back to that particular store again.

The manager on Sunday, who calls himself Brandon takes care of the counter only when he has nothing else to do. Ask for some extra tartar sauce for the extra piece of fish purchased and he will finally get around to giving ONE and only one. Never had that happen there before. Then he disappears without asking if there is anything else. This on top of finding an order not filled properly upon returning home 2 weeks prior. No more visits there for me.

Had the Chicken, it was great! Fried clams were cooked a bit to long. Hushpuppies always are to greasy, but still ok. Food was still warm when I got it home but the containers really wet the food down. Liked the Boxes that they use to use. – didn’t seem to have so much condensation in them.

Its alright I’d say. If you’re hungry, you’ll get full. But I realize why I don’t order from this chain anymore, and that’s for the sheer fact that everything is deep fried. They do have some side items and a couple grilled things, but overall I feel super unhealthy after I eat here. I think it’s more of a nostalgic thing that I’m trying to do to cope with my mom’s recent passing.

Plan to 15-25 mins in the drive thru. Overpriced meals that don’t come with a drink. I spent $22 for two meals and no drink. Was given 1 single pack of tarter sauce. I will never in my life go to this location again. We didn’t even get utensils to eat the coleslaw.

At least the fish was good… Other than that, this store is in sad shape. Store # 70274. A Manager or Owner needs to visit here and inspect the conditions… Customer service was terrible, as if I was a bother to her. Counter help (Alexia C.) initially ignored me while I stood at the front register. After putting her phone away, she walked over and asked “Are you ready”? The store and dining area was dirty. Dirty table tops, dirty floors, etc. I had to swipe away Flies as I ate. There’s no background music playing, and when I first walked into the store it seemed like the place was closed. The French fries tasted like leftovers, and the hush puppies tasted like grease balls. I won’t come back here anytime soon.

Don’t be confused the Plano location is five star. The McKinney location will give you raging diarrhea and vomiting. The owner will not refund your money or make it right. The Plano location is good they do it right the McKinney location serves old rotten food and could possibly put you in the hospital or kill you.
