This place is very hit or miss. Sometimes the food is cooked perfectly other times over or under cooked. The place could definitely be remodeled, it shows its age for sure. The workers are always pretty decent and friendly. I would recommend, but cautiously. There fish when cooked properly is still top notch.

At the drive-thru, they told my daughter that they “couldn’t make burgers” even though they were on the menu board. Shrimp cooks within minutes, yet it took almost 15 minutes even though there was nobody ahead of us. They don’t provide napkins or forks, the hush puppies were hard, burnt, and dried out, the fryer oil clearly hadn’t been changed, so the shrimp was grossly flavored…it was the most disgusting example of a once favorite restaurant that we’ll never visit again. It was NOT worth the overly expensive price we paid, especially since they changed the type of shrimp they use from medium size butterfly to a ridiculously small, pathetic, single-bite size. This location is worthless.

What a nightmare. We had and online order. When we picked it up we only had received half of it. I called in and the lady was rude. When I went to get my order. They were not taking any more order because they were overwelmed. Everyone in the dinning room did not have their food. They were out of many drinking in the fountain and no forks. They turned around atleast 10 people away while was waiting for my order.

Drive thru service was not good. Had to keep on repeating my order. They had us pull around the parking lot to wait for food, even though no one was on line behind us. They forgot 3 of our sides, and the grilled shrimp rice bowl was really small. Talking like a child’s portion. We usually choose drive thru due to dining room always being dirty.

We will not be back to this location, the last two times we were in there the service was bad. The tables were dirty and we had to clean our own table off. The cashier came at me in a snarky way. They locked the doors before 7 which is a huge fire hazard. There was a customer trying to come back in before 7 and they had already closed the doors. That’s pretty messed up.

If you enjoy LJS, don’t bother with this place. The guy running the register helped himself to a snack while taking my order. Ahoy LJS, you’ve got a lack of management problem. I ordered a 12 piece half/half family meal and 15 shrimp. None of which had been fried within the previous hour. Ahoy LJS, you’ve got a lack of management problem. I could go on… Refunded my money. Ahoy, I know you’ll want to hear more at your http:. Maybe that’s part of your problem. Quit making excuses and support your staff.

Sign on door saying the dining room was closed due to technical difficulties, so I had to wait in the drive-thru line to get my online order. While waiting in line, I got to see what disrepair the building was in. One reason I quit going very often was because the inside was so bad, now I’ve seen the outside matches.

The food was great! Cooked to my liking and very favorable for fast food. I had fish, hush puppies, and fries. The A&W root beer is the best fast food root beer you can get. The service was quick. And the atmosphere was calm and friendly. I highly recommend you check this place out if you want American food or sea food!

The lobby was closed due to a leak. Drive thru took awhile food took awhile and was overcooked. We didn’t get all of our order so we had to go back through the Drive thru. 2 workers were sitting in the dining area while there was a line of cars waiting.
