We went through the drive-thru and received really old and cold food. I went back to correct it. The girl behind the registry was rude and dismissive. Instead of saying sorry, we will correct this for you. She said it’s going to be a while for fresh food. Then, with the constant eye rolling, she poured grease from the fryer into my food. The manager on duty was cursing. I didn’t want to talk to him about the situation. I haven’t been to long John silvers in a long time. I won’t be going back.

So I went on 06/7/23. After 5pm. No chicken fried or original and the time would be 30 minutes. After being in line 15 minutes waiting for them to say no chicken. But oh well. Went the next day and got my chicken and they had it. It was good. Good luck to whoever is reading this review.

We took a 40-minute drive because we don’t have a Long John Silver’s where we are, and it is the only fish I will eat. It has been years since I have had it. Fish piece sizes are a ton smaller than what they used to be, but it is still the same flavor. They did over fry the chicken and was a bit dry. No biggie. I couldn’t eat it all anyway. I did miss the little crunchy pieces that they used to give you.

It took them forever to get to me at the drive thru. I was the only one there. I ordered 4 chicken strips for my granddaughter. When I got to the window, they asked me to pull up to wait for them to be done. That right there didn’t make me happy because they didn’t tell me they had none cooked already. But I pulled up and waited, and waited, and waited. I had to go to work so I shut my car off and went inside to ask what the holdup was? I asked one of the girls how long it was going to be and she told me she didn’t know because she wasn’t the cook. I asked her to please find out for me which she then did. She came back and told me it would be another 10 to 15 minutes. Don’t you tell somebody if you don’t have the food prepared? Or tell them how long it’s going to be? I was not a happy camper and I told her to just put chicken legs in the box for me.I had to go. My granddaughter liked the food but I told her not to ask me to go back there again. Not a good experience.

The employees are all super nice and try their best to be accommodating. I gave 4 stars because they were out of malt vinegar which is key IMO when you get “fish and chips”. We have a bottle at home so for us it was okay. Every once in a while it is fun to have a blast from the past and enjoy food from our childhood. Our granddaughter also enjoys LJS fish.

As South Florida (Miami/Ft Louderdake) no longer has Long John Silvers it was a no-brainer to get food leaving the Orlando area. Our meals were great as remembered!!

I only ordered 2 pieces of fish and 3 shrimp cost $11. Fish taste changed. It used to be Fluffy and golden with the tasty crispy pieces on the bottom. Now, fried hard, very thin, lots of brunt specks as if the grease was over used. Fish was quiet greasy. My shrimp was tasty as I recall. It came with 2 hushpuppies. Must have cooked in same grease as Fish. I will try again soon. Maybe this was a fluck. Or, new cooks.
