There aren’t too many Long John Silver’s around anymore which is sad, but their quality overall has just seemingly gone down over the years. Maybe it was just me but their chicken was kind of stringy and tough and you only get two pieces and a meal for nearly $10? That’s just nuts. Maybe if you had three pieces and the quality was a little bit better I would give it a higher rating but overall I was just mostly satisfied. It would really be nice if they could get some better chicken, as I am not a fish person to begin with. Also I had the substitute mashed potatoes and gravy for French fries because they simply had none ready.

When our food was ready, they didnt have our sides, and i was missing a couple shrimp. I had to go back to counter to get our sides and tell them i was missing shrimp. They had to make more, so im sure they were hoping i wouldnt notice. Food was good though, just servers were in a big hurry.

I’ve had good experiences here, but this last one should not have been served out. I ordered a fish/chicken/shrimp combo. When the food was given to me I was informed they were out of tartar sauce. I told them, “you really should tell people that when they order fish. I wouldn’t have ordered this had I known” only to get a dismissive “ok” as a response. Unfortunately, it gets worse. All the food seemed to have set in the warmer too long. Only about 1/2 of it was edible.

I would have given 5 stars but the food was very greasy. The mashed potatoes and gravy were very old.More than half of the mashed potatoes I had were hard as if they’ve been made for quite some time and had a thick hard layer on top and the gravy was film covered. They gave me a new one but the mashed potatoes still had big hard pieces on the bottom. Other than that the food was good. The floor was very slippery even when you dried your shoes off, you could still slip across the floor and it wasn’t from the rain. It was more like someone poured greasy across the floor even in the bathrooms. It was warm and cozy inside.

Waited way to long for our order – they asked for us to move up – my son went to the bathroom and we still waited when he got back into the vehicle -the chicken tenders from Long John’s – had black particles on it like the frier needed cleaned, the tenders was way over fried and dry

Couldn’t even eat the food. I ordered LJS chicken and it was burnt the so called manager was rude when I asked them if they would eat that. That place needs shut down the bathrooms were nasty the floor was sticky and I understand why when I pass there why there is no customers. Parking lot is always bare. They give LJS and KFC a really bad name for restaurants

Unfriendly cashier truly not a people person. She fixed our plates and left them sitting there while waiting on fresh fries. when they were done she proceeded to only put the fresh hot fries on one plate I asked her if I could just get fresh ones for both plates her answer was oh we’ve been busy all evening so they’re ok I said I’d really like hot fries on both. I figured that way at least something would be hot and fresh since the fish wasn’t fresh and it had been sitting out there in the wide open. Don’t know if I’ll give this place another try or not☹
