It is always good to try a new place and they nail it. The shrimp tacos and flounder basket were great. Nice waitress. Fast and Fresh Food. Highly recommend.

Food was delicious, a little low on seating area but compatible with bigger parties! Very friendly service and quick wait time after ordering our food (we were a party of 5).

Stopped in for a bite to eat and some protection from a storm that rolled in while at the state park. This place is fairly small with only a dozen tables between the inside and screed in patio. The bar takes up half the inside and provides the majority of seating. Unfortunately it was packed when we arrived and ended up on the patio as the only table. It was busy when we arrived and I was a little suspect of the service when I arrived. It was several minutes of standing around wondering if we should try and seat ourselves before a waitress came and sat us. Any qualms about service was quickly dispelled. The waitress whose name I unfortunately can’t remember was so friendly, and chatted us up making us feel at home once the other customers left and things slowed down a bit. Other than being in general helpful with our questions and suggestions about the menu, and even the weather, she was funny and had us laughing with our meal. It’s a mom and pop place and the owner and her husband are good friends. Her daughter works there too so you know it’s got those good vibes and she was sharing the love. The food was excellent by the way. I don’t usually hype up the staff like this in my reviews and I’ve dedicated a significant proportion of this one to just that, but the food deserves its props. As it was just a quick bite, we only ordered the drunken shrimp and the catch of the day redfish tacos with Caesar salads. Again I was distracted by the excellent service and inhaled most of the food before I remembered I do these Google reviews. The shrimp were fresh, plump and cooked to perfection. Ate them shell on, but I get weird looks so I know that’s just me. Same thing with the tacos, the fish(blackened) was fresh and well prepared, and the taco with the slaw and sweet chili sauce was on point. The Caesar salad, while *just a salad was equally as good. I’ve had disappointing Caesar salad lately, which is like how?, so I gotta mention it here too. Wish I was on the coast longer as I would’ve liked to have eaten/hangout here more than I did, but now I have another reason to come back!

This little place is the one that I will continue to frequent when in Cape. It’s not some big fancy restaurant that you get lost at. It has that small hometown feel, you are very welcomed as soon as you walk in the door. I’m sure the majority of customers are vacationeers, but they do not make you feel like that.

You have to try the drunken shrimp here. It is absolutely delicious. Who doesn’t like shrimp swimming in garlic butter? Nice selection of craft beer. We will definitely be returning.

Great food and service, we came here twice in a week, and both times were a great experience! The Fish Tacos are REALLY good! I got the Forgotten Coast Pasta, I asked for it to be extra spicy and it was DELICIOUS, highly recommended.

The place was the bomb ! Ate there after a long day at the beach. The only downside was that they had a limited menu. But one thing I do when I am on the coast is always get the peel them and eat them shrimp. You can always tell a lot about a place just from that simple appetizer was 15 bucks for half a pound, but was amazing, the shrimp were perfectly cooked, super clean, deveined and split for easy peeling and the shrimp were large size, hands down best peel em and eat em shrimp I’ve had … and I’ve had a lot. Side note I’m not too sure, but it tasted like all the sauces were made in the house. I had the steak with vegetables and a salad and the steak was cooked perfectly rare and for 30 bucks at 14 ounce. New York strip is worth it. My girl had the flounder, and it was extremely fresh, we got the kiddo, the Alfredo, which is weird to have so close to the beach but it was amazingly creamy. I could only imagine what their big plate of pasta would’ve tasted like overall, the service was amazing. Price is high but I think it’s totally worth it we paid $98 and left a $20 tip. Also keep in mind the place is small but we got there around five and it was perfect amount of people good amount of screens to watch and a nice size bar. I’m gonna get on of their urinals for my house ! Oh almost forgot ….. place was freezing inside it felt amazing after being in the sun. I was a frequent visitor to SGI but I think this areas gonna be my new beach spot . Much love !! Oh shoot forgot … key lime pie … ridiculously good !! No pictures of food because we where starving at it was to good to waste time !

There are bigger places, but there is no better place! We literally LOVE this place. Starting with the greatest staff in all of the Florida Panhandle!! The chef(s) are unequaled their personal attention to detail and their quality shines through plate after plate of food SO good you’ll be back for more I promise. There are other places sure, but none are finer, no one comes close to exceeding your expectations and satisfying your palette like these fine people do! Come for the food, leave as a friend. And tell’em Phil and Carol sent ya!

The seafood is great and the Wonky Donkey hotdog is fantastic. I am not a hotdog guy and I did not expect much but holy cow it was exceptional.
