We visited longhorn this weekend on our trip to pennsylvania, the service from the beginning was great our waitress was very kind and helpful i unfortunately didn’t get her name to mention her but she was great. We got the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer, we almost ordered a second round they were so good. I had gotten the renegade sirloin with the haddock shrimp, steakhouse mac, and a side salad, but forgot to take a picture, the steak was very yummy and cooked just the way i wanted, the only thing i would change next time is add a little extra steak seasoning to my steak but it was still very good!! hubby got the half rack, with the steakhouse mac, and side salad and really enjoyed his as well. We usually don’t do desserts but with it being my birthday we had too!! The molten lava cake was made beautifully and tasted delicious!! We will definitely come again for dinner when visiting (:

Called on Sat to reserve for party of 15. I was informed they don’t make reservations but I could call Sun, to get a spot held for all of us, to let them know a time and they would be able to seat us. Called Sun and informed they could only do parties of 8 since it was Mothers Day. So we booked for 2 parties of 8. Upon checking in they had us scheduled for 2 parties of 15. We got them to understand that it was just 1 party of 15. We still waited an hour and half to get seated. We got 2 long tables, one for 7, and one for 8 people. There was not enough room for 8 people to eat with a plate 2 side and a drink. We asked to add a small table and was told no. Two of our party of 8 left since they were not going to eat with no elbow room. There was hardly enough room for 6 adults at the table. Since we down sized from 2 parties of 15 to 1 party of 15 there should not have been a problem adding another small table. As we walked out there was a table of 16 all sitting together with multiple tables and booths empty during our stay. An 8 oz Sirloin was about 3×3” from 1/4” to 3/4” thick. There is no way that was a half a pound steak. When compared to the 6 oz it was smaller and less thick. The Margaritas needed more alcohol in them. All you could taste was the mixers. Can definitely tell this is a chain restaurant that is willing to sacrifice quality experience over quantity. Being a small business owner in the agriculture/food service business I was appalled at the management of resources or lack of concern for the customer. Not that it matters to the restaurant but there are 15 people who will never visit the Harrisonburg location again. Contemplating any of the chain again since quantity out weighs quality. Surely glad I do not run my business in this manner or I would not be in business long. Hunter,the waiter, was the best part of the experience.

Great location, great food, and great service. This was a nice surprise to find a great steak house in a small town. The portions and quality were better than expected. The seasoned fries are really delicious. The baked potato is something to write home about! We had a great time, and our waitress made us feel valued. We will be back for sure.

My previous review was great, but going today, I was a bit disappointed. Still gave 4 stars because I feel it was just an off day. We waited for our cocktail drinks, but even water didn’t come out until our salads were done. We had to ask a hostess, who walked by, for our drinks. We didn’t get plates for our bread. The loaded baked potato was t even close to loaded. Barely cheese, sour cream and butter…on all 3 potatoes in our party. The 12 oz beer on the menu said 2.99 but we were charged 4.99. No sense in taking time to question a different bucks. The server was very friendly, but seemed new at waiting tables. It won’t prevent me from coming back. The ribs and steaks are very good, and the restaurant has great ambiance and is clean.

Very friendly atmosphere, noise level was exceptional for the amount of people there( place was packed). We had a party of 8 and everyone was served at the same time. Never had to ask for drinks, the waitress was energetic. The temperature for the steaks came put perfectly. Everyone enjoyed a great meal.

Amazing place had a great meal one small concern, my sister loves Rare to medium rare steak. The concern was part of the steak was well and the other half was medium rare. It was a birthday dinner for her Yet the appetizer and all the rest of our dinners were perfect. The staff and atmosphere was amazing and great for a Thursday evening.
