FINALLY I have found a restaurant in Raleigh that reminds me off the good food from up North!! When you walk in the smells makes you hungry!! I had the ribs, smoked chicken, collard greens, pimento Mac & Cheese and Cornbread. The ribs tasty and tender. The chicken tasty but could have been smoked longer to be more tender. The collard greens very good the pimento Mac & Cheese is in a LANE BY ITSELF AMAZING!!!! The Cornbread was moist & delicious. Kudos I will definitely be back!!

So happy about the vegan option. I didn’t think I’d ever be able to try this place. Staff is nice too! Falafel sandwich is pretty good!

All I can say is, get the banana pudding. I don’t even like pudding, but this hit so good.

First time in and I was eating solo so I didn’t get through much of the menu but the pork ribs and collard greens were delicious. The house old fashioned was also tasty. I’ll be back to work my way through the menu. This might be Raleigh’s best BBQ.

I was eager to try this place based on previous reviews and photos of the food. I’m giving a 3 Star based on the great customer service and atmosphere of the restaurant however, the food deserves 2 stars at best. I was extremely disappointed with the taste of the food. Everything looked so good but it lacked flavor. The ribs were smoked well, but that’s about it, they’re very bland, as are the sides. Even the cornbread was bland. The only thing that I enjoyed was the chicken wings. They were the only thing that had a tad bit of seasoning.

Great atmosphere in the heart of Raleigh, Order and pay via QR code at table – Brisket was really delicious. Indoor and outdoor seating, undercover – lots of parking close by and pet friendly!

Food was good! I did only try the potato salad and the brisket. I found the corn was a little weird and hot which I didn’t like too much. The drinks were great, inside was super cute. The servers and bartenders are all attentive and sweet. Would recommend to try out!

Not bashing, but I can only give it a three for the sole reason you have to use a QR code and a credit card to get even a beer here. No cash. For those of you who love living that paper menu free and cash free life it is a four. I went with veteran customers and even they mis-ordered on their order on their phone even after asking for a rare secret paper menu for reference. The actual barbecue was excellent. Although its appearance in a broth version of brunswick stew was not better than the more usual thick chicken version. Collards were also excellent, firm not mush. Bar was good. Music was way too loud although countless points for playing an Arlo Guthrie song. Everything is ala carte portions no combos so good for mix and sharing. If I do it again most likely I will only use it for take out since if I have to I order and pay online before I eat I might as well grab and go.

The Fried Catfish basket with fries, tarter sauce and a slice of the warm, buttery cornbread was everything I could’ve asked for and more. A huge fan of the ambiance and overall aesthetic of Longleaf Swine. Next time I’ll have to try the banana pudding. Thanks, Longleaf Swine!
