The reviews about the place being grossly understaffed are true. But the staff is nice and friendly, if you are patient you’ll be rewarded. The food is so much better than at the restaurant! If you are reading this trying to decide wether to go to the hotel’s restaurant or here, go here – without a doubt. The burger is truly excellent, the potato skin with pulled pork was also delicious, albeit a bit dry, and the salad was very good.

Dancing on the weekend to a live band is fun with both locals and guests in attendance. The menu is simple and the service is good. Great place to meet up with friends and enjoy the view. If there is rain or lightning the view is awesome! On a clear day you can see for miles and at night the lights of Tucson are like gems. The hotel staff is polite and accommodating.

Thought it would be nice to hit the hotel restaurant but what a disappointment. Took quite a while to get anything even with only 5 tables filled. Ordered a Moscow Mule but got some kind of drink with pomegranate seeds in it. Their menu in the restaurant is much smaller than what is online but went ahead with a normal burger and fries. For $16 I expected a real cheeseburger, not something that looked like it came from the kids menu. I could have gotten a better burger from a fast food place. It did at least taste good.

We didn’t eat here but we stopped in for a drink and maybe an appetizer. The bartender was so very nice but explained that she was “not” a bartender but the bartender scheduled didn’t show up so she basically was “stuck”. 2 beers at $10 each with a mediocre atmosphere ,… Probably won’t come back.

Nice upscale casual place to eat while staying at the old/classic Westward Look hotel and Spa. This is a great place for. Stay-cation if you are local to Tucson or to enjoy classic southwest comfort and views if you are from out of town!

Anthony was my server, very knowledgeable, efficient and kind! He recommended a mozzaburger and salad for my dietary restrictions and had it done charged and served very quickly! He represents the restaurant and resort with upmost professionalism and loyalty! Definitely recommend checking this place out even if your not a guest!! A++
