First time here and this place is amazing! Food is great and service is great. The view from the outdoor restaurant is the best! Just be aware they open at noon. The sign on the steps up has 11:30.

I usually don’t start my reviews with a negative perspective, but my experience at the The Lookout Cafe on 7/12/23 was dampened by our hostess Greta. She appeared to be unhappy in greeting customers as well as not saying thank you for coming to customers when they left. Aside from that, the rest of the service was great, as our server Liam was helpful and friendly towards us and answered any questions we had pertaining to the food.

Spacious outdoor dining with views of the lake. Food is generic and rather bland but our waitress was nice, food came quick, and the beers were very reasonably priced. Nice place to sit and watch the steamboats coming and going if you’re ok with a simple burger, wrap, or salad. I’d recommend they spice the food up and add a few more choices to the menu.

The host sat us down and didn’t bother telling anyone that we were seated. After about 10 minutes a server stopped by and asked if we had been served. When we said he he jumped right In and took great care of us.
