The place itself is outdated but that was a plus for me because I enjoy businesses that feel like a time capsule. The owner was there when I ate there, told us (my colleague and I) about the history of the business and was a very appreciative man. The staff was extremely cordial and inviting and always ready to answer questions with smiles. I’ll be coming back soon. The wet burrito was fantastic as well as the Sopapillas. Prices are competitive and portion sizes were generous.

My favorite kind of restaurant is a packed up with people kind of chatty taco house. They always have tempting cakes sitting near the pick up counter. Price for my favorite wet burrito is reasonable. I suggest the chicken, my husband suggests the ground beef.

Wish this place was open on both Saturday AND Sunday. My favorite! My family LOVES almost everything except the beef chunks for the wet burritos. IF You get any food get something with chicken and or beans. Yummy!

I’ve been coming to this restaurant with my father for almost 30 years. I’m so glad the recipes have not changed. The cheese enchiladas are by far my favorite! Thank you!

Food is American style Mexican more than authentic. They use American cheese as their cheese source, salsa seemed right out of a jar,

Save yourself the trouble and go to taco bell. Unfortunately that’s the closest thing you’ll find to “Mexican” food in Albion. I ordered a bean wet burrito and a chicken wet burrito for my girlfriend. I was perplexed to see that the filling was literally nothing but beans …like no rice, salsa… anything. Just a flavorless mass (can?) of refried beans inside. My girlfriend reported that the chicken was also unseasoned and just flavorless chicken. As if that wasn’t enough for one star, I also found a long black hair in my bean burrito. Probably the worst attempt at Mexican, or even Americanized Mexican, that I’ve ever had…and I’ve encountered quite a few. I really don’t understand it but this place seems popular for some reason.

Despite all the positive comments from other reviews, this place is not running to the standards of a Mexican restaurant.

Took quite a while to get our food. It was very typical “American-Mexican” cuisine. It was alright, might skip it next time.
