Lord Bennett’s is a destination coastal restaurant located in beautiful Bandon, Oregon. It is spacious yet intimate, with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean from anywhere in the restaurant. All of our selections are prepared fresh daily using regional ingredients when available and the freshest local seafood.

Someone recommended this place when I was looking for places for my husband’s birthday. We live in Coos Bay and the two places we frequent are closed on Mondays. The actual day of my husband’s birthday. I don’t want to drive from CB to Bandon and feel rushed on a Monday, so we opted to go on a Saturday. The view is amazing. We didn’t get a window seat, but we still had a view. I have not found a place in CB they can make a decent extra dirty martini, but Lord Bennett’s can. My husband ordered an old fashion and his only complaint was the crushed ice versus the large single block of ice. The food was good and had generous portions. I had the king salmon special and my husband had the ahi tuna special. Our son had the cheeseburger and fries. For dessert I had the chocolate mousse, my husband had the pecan pie, and our son had the NY cheesecake. I couldn’t finish the mousse, not because it wasn’t great but because it was too rich. I’m glad someone recommended this spot as we can now add it to our favorite spots.

Really high quality food & service. Ambiance is perfect. Veggies were cooked to perfection. Ahi was a touch cold in the middle, but that’s a fine line. Even the best chefs need to guess between overcooked and rare.

Amazing food. Impeccable service. Friendly Bartender. I would suggest that the Chef who shucks Oysters in seconds, take a bit more time and cut the foot off the shell so guests don’t have to scrape the shells to remove the Oyster.

The hostess and wait staff were very friendly and helpful. Food which was delicious came out quickly. I had the Seafood sampler and I loved it as I could taste a little bit of everything. The veggies especially the Broccoli and Asparagus were very flavorful! I wanted to order the Chocolate Mousse for dessert but I had no room for it The view of the ocean from our table was amazing!

Food was overall pretty good. Dishes we ate did have a good portion of vegetables but they were cooked very well..good flavor and crisp but well cooked. The calamari was excellent. The seafood platter with clams, scallops, mussels and fish was delish. Our table also ordered the fettuccine with salmon, however the platter medley was the better option. Kids ordered the strawberry lemonade and that seemed to have fresh strawberries and just yhe right amount if sweetness. Service was a little slow, but they were down a server but still super friendly with the hostess and bartender helping to offset our wait. View from the restaurant was also great. Reservations during the summer recommended.

It was my birthday and everything was delicious and perfect! We had the vegetable pasta, nut crusted halibut and Artisan salad with chicken. Desert was Flan and a surprise birthday fudge from the restaurant. I could have not been more pleased. The evening was especially special with the lovely blown glass lights and the gorgeous view of the ocean. We hated to leave.
