This place is literally around the corner for me, and this next week there’s a town wide promotion called “Taste of Garwood” running, so OF COURSE I had to walk over with the family and have a nice Friday night dinner out. Everything was outstanding, from the service to the food (penne vodka with shrimp was great) to the dessert! We got there a bit early for a Friday night, it was quiet when we walked in, busy when we walked out (and everyone else’s meal looked good too)! 5 stars to this great local Italian spot, make sure to check it out!

Went here with a large party. The staff was very friendly and tentative to request and clearing the table. The food was amazing by far some of the best I’ve experienced so far. A huge menu with choices for everyone no matter what they like or can’t eat. The food came out in a timely manner with enough time between plate to finish the plate and relax some.

Ordered take out from Lorenzo’s for the first time using their online site. There’s a 5% discount for first time online orders. I was a little confused with the menu, I selected a soup but did not receive with either of my meals. Large menu with lots of choices. We got the chicken francese and penne in vodka sauce with grilled chicken. They came with salads. Both dishes were very good. We will be returning!

We’re still taking about what a Great night we had.The service was great and the owner was a sweetheart. He came over to our table to make sure we were satisfied with our meals. I can’t wait to eat my leftovers tonight. Will definitely be going back.

Family oriented, had a bday party here and it was great. Good verity of appetizers, main course and desert. Food was well cooked, service was good and fast. Plenty of time to chat and enjoy food

Not impressed with this place at all, we have been here twice, the first time I didn’t care for it, the second time was worse, I asked the waitress for creamy Italian dressing, she brought Italian, I explained to her the difference and she was like I’ll bring you more, she again brought regular Italian, I also asked her if there were noodles in the minestrone soup as I am gluten free and she said yes, so I didn’t order it, someone else at the table ordered it and there were in fact no noodles. Then there was the main course, I ordered gluten free baked ziti, they brought it out, thought they got it wrong, took it back then brought it back and said.. this is the gluten free one, the kitchen was confused, I wasn’t confident that the waitress was confident it was in fact gluten free. I’m not sick so it was, but that can cause someone to get really sick, you really want to get your facts straight. Also the food took forever to come out. I’d skip this place, I’ve only been for family birthdays and frankly, I wont go back.

The food is delicious and the service was gopd. I have been to Lorenzo’s several times & have never been disappointed. I only wish they were not located so far from me.

I enjoy the Italian food here. Good food at a great price and a good atmosphere. I travel from Scotch Plains to eat at Lorenzo’s with my Family. We Love this place and we will keep coming back..
