I am pretty sure they gave me the wrong sandwich. As you can see by the paperwork I ordered turkey with cheese and sprouts…instead I received a No cheese with bacon and avocado which I am not a fan of. Very disappointed in this place. I expected more after seeing the reviews.

Growing up in the 80s as a teen in the neighborhood, this was the best sandwich shop ever. Loved the bread, meat and especially the sauce. Today in 2020s, it’s been hard for me to catch this place open. The shop seems to have a short schedule but I’m still not giving up and will keep trying.

This place is great! I just had the pleasure of eating here for the first time. The sandwich was great. I ordered the “Vegetarian” sandwich with vegan mayo, vegan cheese, and a sourdough roll and it was delicious and I devoured it. I do wish they had some sort of mock meat or other meat substitutes. Maybe one day?
