One of the things about traveling I don’t like is the quest to find a good place to eat while on the road. Well this place is a restaurant to avoid. I had the buffet because I was told it had a little bit of everything! So I tried a little bit of everything. Pulled pork was good and worth a bite! Green beans I also liked! Catfish was good but thin. Sweet potatoes were delicious! But as for the rest, I’d recommend staying away from. Mashed potatoes were watery and tasted like mush! Apple pie way too sweet, chocolate pudding tastes bland, I’ve had far better out of a can. Blackberry pie crust had a weird taste to it. The place was run down and dirty.

Nothing was homemade except for the french toast. Hamburger steak was mystery meat, Not fresh ground beef. Mashed potatoes tasted like instant potatoes and the bake beans was nothing more than pork n beans with very little seasonings. I was highly disappointed that even the pies weren’t homemade but something that was store bought. The only reason for the 3 stars was because of the Stuffed French Toast.

What a great place to stop and eat, right off Interstate 40. Cute little truck stop diner and tribute to Mrs Loretta Lynn. We chose to eat off the buffet and it was a great choice. Everything had a great flavor and taste. The fried chicken was a bit dry and I wish the cobbler was warm. The place is clean and the service is friendly. Great set up like an old diner. Hopefully this place stays around and continues to be taken care of now that Loretta is gone. I visited a long time ago and she used to come in and visit with the guests. This is my first time back since her passing.

This place was a cozy lil joint off the beaten path, but it was worth the stop if you are traveling past and are in need of a bite to eat. The staff was friendly. The food portion was a decent size. There is store attached to the eatery where you are able to get a variety of trinkets, keepsake and gift for yourself or others.

Dinner was great and the service was 10/10! Seriously, the food was fresh and had a delicious taste. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the the small gift store. The older ladies at the counter were very sweet. If your in the area definitely give this place a try! Just make sure you come hungry as the portions are much bigger than your typical restaurant chains.

This was a great stop! The gift shop has a unique variety of items, and the service is kind. A great stop if you have someone in the car interested in classic country. The friends wall is amazing!

This is a restaurant and gift shop. The food is pretty good. We kept our orders pretty basic as we had just gotten on the road heading back to Houston and were slightly hurried……. the 7 hour drive ahead was not something that I was looking forward to. Very homey kind of place, plenty to look at, but the decor was probably the same as the day that it was built. I was thinking that as the missus said it! It kind of felt like I opened a door that led to a country kitchen in 1982. The staff was great, super friendly, and very attentive. Check it out when you are driving through.

Friend got the buffet and I had side salad and well done fries. My salad tasted fresh. The server was very friendly and helpful – she told us interesting info about the Lynns and Hurricane Mills. The experience of dining among all the Loretta Lynn memorabilia makes it 5 stars.

Haven’t been here for a few years and it’s nice to see that nothing seems to have changed. STILL GOOD in both the service and quality of food. No buffet on Monday but we both ordered the catfish and were very pleased. The cook put enough catfish on our plates to make us forget about there ever being a buffet. Great service by Cyndy Lou.
