I’ve only been here once so can’t really rate based off all their food. We stopped here on vacation near by and ordered breakfast. Find it weird that the juevos rancheros came with rice and not potatoes. Not sure about rice for breakfast. I’d definitely get potatoes on a breakfast plate over rice. I’d suggest they put a basic breakfast plate on menu that include, eggs, beans, potatoes and choice of meat. Also, I would of loved my tortillas cooked a little more. It was just ok.

As far as Mexican places go in the mountains (which usually aren’t good), this one tops the charts. We try something different every time. Tacos, enchiladas, burritos, apps. There are so many vegetarian choices, and there is a cactus veggie option that is different, quite good. The queso Fundido we order w chorizo on the side is delicious! The Moscow mule was refreshing. The salsa is amazing. The jumbo shrimp cocktail is just that, and it’s perfectly seasoned. The service is great, what a wonderful venue, w so many seating options inside, full bar, and a patio overlooking (285) a view of Meyer Ranch’s mountains. Everyone left pleased, a great spot to frequent in Conifer.

I’ve had my fair share of Mexican and Latin restaurants most of my life living in Colorado. Most are pretty average. Every once in a while I come across a gem like this place. The food is hearty, generous and SO flavorful. You can tell by its taste and appearance that the extra mile has even traversed. Very spacious but organized layout and comfortable environment.

We stopped at this restaurant while visiting and I must say that the food was great. The waitress was super friendly. Not too busy for a Saturday afternoon. Breakfast is served all day long as well. The chips and salsa were fresh and delicious. Will definitely go there again.

My girlfriends and I came here after a performance to celebrate and had a great experience despite the hostess seeming less than pleased to seat a group of us at 8:45p. Our server, Lauren, however, was fantastic! She was patient and attentive. The food was tasty and came quickly. Great spot to grab a snack! We will definitely come back.

When we arrived at 8pm on a Thursday the place was virtually empty. Almost turned away because it gave off a “well this is creepy” vibe. Unsurprisingly we were seated quickly and while it took a bit for someone to come around at take our order, once the food arrived it was quite good. The margarita was very tasty as well. Critical for the evening dinner plans, it also has a Tesla Supercharger in the parking lot. Oddly even though posted closing time was 9pm, by the time we left the place was practically buzzing with new customers so perhaps we just arrived at a weird lull before last call. Regardless, would certainly visit again with a thirsty Tesla.

We stopped here on our way through town and found a hidden gem! The salsa (made fresh each morning) and chips delivered to our table upon arrival were delicious and unique. We each got something different from the diverse menu and each was very flavorful and delicious. Top notch Mexican food! Our waitress, Lauren, was very friendly and attentive – it was obvious the staff enjoyed working there. Food arrived quickly despite the Friday night rush.

Had a wonderful time with a great bartender. This place makes their own tequila brand and it is really good. The chimichanga I ate was really good with The Choice of the meat that I wanted in it. I will be back again

Chips/Salsa obvious homemade salsa, was tasty. Chips would’ve benefited huge by a nice, quick warming. I Had a 3 piece combination plate. 3 different meats. Nice that they were all individual flavors! You know how some restaurants all the meat tastes nearly the same? These were obviously different. Tamale (pork) was rather bland. Chicken enchilada, the meat was very, very tender, but not well seasoned. The enchilada sauce was a bit spicy, but in a very good way. The shredded beef was incredibly tender, & the most flavor of the 3. It was paired w/beans in a burrito. All were topped w/green chili, according to menu. Couldn’t really taste or see that, but were topped w/cheese. Hubby had an uncrunchy Lunch chimichanga. He said it was ok, nothing outstanding. Dessert a nice ending. Service was ‘meh’– at best. Seated in a very conspicuous area, yet we were overlooked way too much. Good enough I guess to ‘try’ this place, we were very excited to find a wonderful Mexican restaurant. Not a place we’d be delighted to bring friends/family here. Unsure if worth the drive…..sigh…….
