We visited because it was a block from our hotel. It was disappointing. I ordered a strawberry margaritas and had to change to passion fruit because they were out of strawberry. I ordered a burrito supreme with pork. The pork was good, the rest was average, and the tortilla was tough. My companion ordered Chile rellanos and only got a single chili on the plate after he was told they didn’t have cheese rellanos that he ordered. He got beef instead. The rice was bland, and his portion was not worth $15. Parking in the area seemed difficult, so we were glad to be able to walk from the Holiday Inn.

Charming, spacious, modern Mexican place with some of the best birria style tacos I’ve ever tasted, tender well seasoned stew meat melting into an authentic double corn tortilla with a decadent jus for dipping. Impressive cocktail menu featuring upscale mojitos and margaritas as well as Mexican inspired versions of martinis and other classics. Everything tasted freshly made rather than reheated. Would like to return for dinner.

It’s my second time there. I’ve had tacos both times. The first time there was good. Therefore I went back with family. The food was great again but the service was bad. The waiter barely came to check on us and once the food came out we had no more service. She had to get up and ask for the check because she never came back. We were sat at a corner and was freezing cold.

I ordered from GrubHub, plated at home. My expectation was higher based on the overwhelming positive reviews. Grateful I only ordered 1 birria taco as there was a large piece of fat in it that was a very unpleasant texture to experience. The seasoning was also light. La Mesa Market are better in my opinion and can be ordered from the app too. Pictured here are the adobadas, meat a little dry. Overall good but Mexican food is competitive in our community so it’s hard not to want “the best”.

We came here after playing archery tag neaby and we we had a good time! The food and margaritas were delicious, and the portions we’re massive for the price! My only complaint is that the service was very slow despite the restaurant being nearly empty.

Awesome Mexican place with great ambience. Their salsa is quite delicious and so is the food on their menu.

It’s terrible. The food they sell here you can buy at another restaurant for a better price and quality. The tacos had no flavor. The torta is mostly bread with barley any meat and toppings. The worst part is that it took 20 minutes after we got our to go boxes to finally get the bill. For the lady to just walk away and make us wait another 15 minutes for her to take the bill back and finally let us leave. It’s absurdly ridiculous how long we spent waiting to leave. I could have been home writing this review but instead I’m writing it at the restaurant still waiting for the lady to come take my debit card/bill and pay.

Not a fancy restaurant but it has the best food! If you are looking for a solid tasty meal and not some “experience” than this will do very well. Friendly and helpful staff! I typically travel on the west coast so Mexican food is available everywhere, This is one of, if not he best I have had. Not Californiaized
