Los Amigos is always good! I tried the carne asada, and it was sooooo good! Then we had the fried ice cream…ohh if you haven’t tried that then you are missing out! Now, it’s not as good as chi chi’s was, but when there’s no chi chi’s, you eat what you can find…Los Amigos!

In the midst of the cashier tapping her nails, the SCREAMING kids and the overly crowded entrance, you will find mediocre food, at best. Very ssllloooowww service. Bland food. I guess it is to be expected in the heart of gringo land. I was definitely NOT impressed.

Very poorly ran. Had young children working as a hostess while the lady in the front spent most of her time on her phone while standing behind the register. The tortillas were hard, the food lacked flavor. It seems this establishment lost its leadership and you can tell by the lack of care put into the food. The waiter didn’t even come by to check on the table for refills or chips but 1 time. I’m f you’re looking for a bland Mexican restaurant you can find a great choice here otherwise I’d find a different one.

This was not what I was expecting . I ordered a combination plate with a side of refried beans. First the chips n salsa were very bland almost as if it was spaghetti sauce. I added hot sauce n salt…it was ok then. Then my tamale, beans, burrito and enchilada had no spice at all. To top it off my friend ordered Queso Blanco – but when she ordered it she said cheese dip…so I said something after the waitress went away and she said that is how they have it listed…I was like really?!? I was a bit disappointed. The place looked authentic but it was missing the flavor and spice I am used to.

Food is great almost all the time service is slow though never went in and immediately gotten food usally takes about 10 to 15 mins to get my order sometimes longer people are always nice and polite only problems I’ve got is they have kids working there I think there of working age but they just look very young

I love Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant!!! It is my favorite place to go eat. It has a great staff that is very friendly and very amazing food!!! I live an hour away now from Los Amigos (I used to live in New Castle) but almost every time I go to New Castle I get some Los Amigos to take home with me! They have so many great dishes and in my opinion, they are all great! So if you haven’t tried Los Amigos yet or live out of town and are in New Castle and want Mexican food I highly recommend it! Los Amigos does not disappoint! ❤️
