I ordered chips with cheese and Guacamole. It was almost $14. I expected more than just a very very small cup ( like a condiment ketchup cup) for the price. The Guacamole was very plain. I guess I am just used to more flavor in my food. And for $14 more than 1.5 tablespoon of Guacamole. Margaritas have zero alcohol in them. The canned margaritas like Cayman Jack or Cut Water have more alcohol in them.The staff was nice, it was clean. Only other drawback is you can’t get in the place without walking through a haze of cigarette smoke. The ashtray is right by the door. I thought there was an ordinance in Anchorage that said there was no smoking within 20 feet of the entrance.

Looking for the best Mexican food in Anchorage? Look no further! Los Arcos is so good. Service is friendly, atmosphere is casual and the food is always good. I’ve been here multiple times for lunch and dinner and always walk away satisfied. Plenty of room for large groups, good place for business lunches and quiet dinners. Don’t forget to try the Margaritas!
