After driving by this place many times we finally gave it a try… glad we did.

I’m a tourist, I’ve only been in Colorado for an hour. Found this place as it was on the way between the airport and hotel, and it was incredible. I ordered enchiladas tapatia w/ chicken, and the spicy potatoes they came with were so good! Might come back one more time before we leave.

I have been coming here for 20 years with my wife who introduced me to Los Arcos (which her family had frequented for even longer) and it has always been one of our favorite staples any time we go out! Tonight we tried their new Molcajetes and WOW! Talk about delicious, it was steaming in a Volcanic Stone bowl and is our new favorite item! No matter what the owners and staff make you feel at home and enjoy every visit!

Having lived near this restaurant and having wanted to try it for a long time this was by far THE WORST experience I’ve had. Our waitress was completely inattentive and seemed extremely out of sorts when she did come to assist us with our order, but it took far too long for her to do so. We went later in the evening and she did have a few tables, but overall it was not that busy. Even though we were willing to purchase alcohol we didn’t because our waitress was more concerned with what was going on in the kitchen. She messed up another table’s drink order. After that we didn’t see her for probably a good 20-30 minutes. Another waitress had to check on us and her other tables several times and was more attentive even though we were not her table. Just getting Chips and Salsa took more than 20 minutes to arrive at our table from yet another staff member. The food had ZERO flavor. For a semi-authentic feeling restaurant this was by far the most disappointing part. The portions were almost fulfilling, but this was like eating air with some give. The food was what one might expect from a strictly American dining experience that doesn’t specialize in any Mexican style dishes rather than a Mexican food place that should. The waitress did discount our meal slightly, but it wasn’t enough to make it worth it. When we went to check out the manager on duty took offense when we had mentioned the food was bland. We didn’t mention our overall experience, but I will not nor the rest of our party return to this place. Seriously we were so disappointed it didn’t even matter anymore. Even if this were recommended again I may be even more hesitant to return.

Very different from the Mexican Food we enjoy in Texas, that’s for sure. The place was very nice and clean. From the parking lot, to the bathrooms, everything was very clean. The place is very popular and the service was great, so i assume they are always that busy and know what to do. The food is not like we enjoy at home, though. It was not overcooked or anything like that physically, but not close to what I enjoy. Let’s put it this way, they had no idea what I was talking about when I asked for Salsa Verde whenever they brought us the chips and Red Salsa. LOL That should have been a red flag for us to spot right away. If you’re from out of town and used to authentic Mexican Food, get an appetizer first thing and don’t order anything else until you have actually tried it. Then decide. Trust me, we should have done the same thing. We ordered appetizers and our main course at the same time, so we experienced everything. The people there are very friendly, though. I’m not sure, but there were many elderly people so maybe the food was especially made for them? If that’s the case, then they are on to something because business was good for them there.

Great food! The servers were so friendly, kind and attentive, something that is lacking in so many other places. It was busy when we went on Thursday at dinnertime, so had to wait a bit longer than usual for drinks and food, but we didn’t mind as we were in no hurry. Been coming here for years and will continue to do so!

Service was really great. They were extremely busy when we came in and they food still came out quickly. They only had two items listed as gluten free on the menu. I imagine many more items are gluten free but it was nice to know which items were 100% safe. The flavor was lacking which is the only reason this restaurant doesn’t get 5 stars in my opinion.
