Hidden gem. Food was good. Green enchiladas best tasting out of all we ordered. Reasonably priced. Good portions. Clean and good atmosphere. Great service. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Great place to have breakfast! Don’t order 2 tacos because they are big! The menudo is just amazing, a must try.

Fabulous! Hidden gem in Port Isabel! The food was great and the prices were a match! Charro beans and fajitas were scrumptious! Portion size just right! I meant to take pics of my food, but I forgot I did get the charro beans! yummy! Staff was very friendly and extremely efficient!

I usually try to stay nice when reviewing a place. It’s just the staff was a little non-friendly or organized. They didn’t remove plates from the receipt that were ordered but not available after ordering. I tried to pay half cash and credit but they made it seem like it was too much effort to do. So I just paid all with my card. Some food/drinks were not available and the food was decent. Side note: The bathroom was a little gross.

I have to say I was skeptical but after tasting the homemade chips and salsa I knew this was going to be delicious. The portions were good size, tortillas from scratch and you can tell it’s all fresh. We are from Dallas but vacation here every year and will be making this a regular spot.

Did not meet the high expectations we held. We were told it was a great place to eat. We did not ask what was the best food to eat there. Smell from the parking lot was mouth watering. We were excited to order seafood since decoration was very nautical, and the name is a beach, after all. We immediately got huge drinks, cups of delicious Mexican bean soup and tasty home made chips. So far, I’m thrilled with the place. I asked for recommendations and the server said he didn’t know. When I asked what his favorite seafood was, he said he didn’t like seafood. I asked what meal items were popular and again, he didn’t know. That should have been a hint. But I was already seated, and those beans were great. We ordered seafood. The actual dishes, though, the poboy was ok. The seafood platter was ok. The shrimp had that chemical-not-fresh flavor. The sauces for the seafood were all very plain. Kudos for not tasting like they were straight out of the kraft bottle but didn’t quite hit the mark. I asked for lemons, and as authentic Mexican, they brought a bowl full of limes. All in all, I wish I knew what smelled so good. So if you go and eat at Cabo, it’s not the seafood. Service was good, place is clean with plenty of parking, food was served without a long wait, but it was neither good nor bad. I did correct a wrong charge when paying the bill that they quickly fixed, blaming the server’s illegible notes.

The shrimp was nice and big and tasted great but the frech fries was nothing but crinkle fries. The cold slaw was just ok. But the pinto beans were great.
