On a nice day like we had, it’s better to sit outside, people watch, & eat. There was a margarita deal & all the margaritas were delish. We had the queso dip as a starter and then multiple entrees that were all devoured. The server was attentive.

Food was great until we ordered dessert! No ice cream so we got whipped cream instead (really!) 4 out of your 5 desserts have (ice cream) and when confronted about it (Gustabo) because we weren’t told they didn’t have any the answer was … sorry. Well I wouldn’t have ordered anything if I had known that! He didn’t even care… I won’t be back and this was one of my favorite places in cedar falls to go to.

My husband and I went there for our Anniversary, for the First & Last time. The atmosphere and decor were very pleasant. That was the Only thing we liked! Our waitress was not helpful with any questions we had. Our Margaritas tasted like colored water on ice. I ordered the Shrimp Chimichanga. It was ok, but I always had them crispy anywhere else, not here, soft and bland. My husband ordered 3 different types of tacos. He found a Full Sized Jalapeno Pepper in one of them. He was obviously not happy. He mentioned it to the waitress and she said yes, it supposed to be in the dish! She never asked if we wanted more drinks and it was Happy Hour. Definitely do not Recommend and we will never go there again.

Visited after the lunch rush, around 230ish. We were literally the ONLY customers in the joint. Older lady served us, couldn’t speak very much English. I get it – they’re a mexi restaurant. But came took our order, brought chips, then our food – never came back out to check on us except to bring us our check. We needed our water refilled..but by the time she came to refill them, we were ready to leave. Don’t get me wrong – the food is great…but they could use more waitstaff.

We tried Los Cabos family restaurant for the first time today. I haven’t found a restaurant on Main Street in Cedar Falls that I don’t like. My husband had the steak fajitas He said they were okay and I had the fish tacos that I thought were very good. I would definitely recommend Los Cabos family restaurant if you’re in the area and looking for some Mexican.

The Truth
Where do i even begin? The service is just plain bad. The food was super bland! Silverware had to ask for it multiple times. Pop tasted like wet socks. Will not be back ever again.
