I read about this in the Reno News & Review when they first opened and got really excited because chilaquiles has always been my favorite Mexican breakfast. I cannot believe we waited so long to go. It absolutely did not disappoint. It was a busy Saturday right before noon when we got there, but we were still seated promptly and right away they brought over a sope and two bowls of salsa. The food was delicious…generous servings on large (beautiful pottery plates) and I’m not sorry I ate every bite! Will absolutely be adding this to our regular rotation of breakfast outings.

Great Mexican breakfast place. Order a cup of coffee and you get sugar in the raw, cinnamon stick and cream to add to it. Comes in a metal pot and cup so it stays warm. What a treat! I also had the egg and chorizo blue corn tacos. Very yummy.

This is for reals ,,,, the wait time is so worth it, family of 16 desperate on the first 45 min wait time , when it comes to an hour everyone says enough it’s enough,,, I make everyone child out and finally after 1 hour 10 min we get the table for 16 and hwwaaaaaalaaaaa they take the order and 10 later we have the molestes and 10 later our food and it was one of the most amazing time with family taking this flavorful dishes,,, so so worth it we all really like this place and for the next time visiting Reno from San Jose Ca. we definitely going back to THE CHILAQUILES ,, to all the team

Been a few times overall the food is delicious. Service is hit or miss. Juices are over $8 that seems overpriced. I did order an iced tea as usual but this time a server would not put my tea in a to-go cup when cutting my dine-in short for work. I had to have a new one and pay for another iced tea. Never had this happen at any other restaurant ever visited. I kindly declined had to leave my paid for iced tea at the table. Not the place that earns generous tips.
