Horrible place, sub-par food, and SUPER CHEAP portions. Ordered shrimp fajitas and they give me 4 tiny shrimps covered with tons of onions and peppers, with 3 tortillas, how does that work? 1 tiny shrimp per tortilla? Did I order a veggie fajita? When I asked them how does that make sense, the guy tells me “that’s how it’s served, and if I wanted, I can pay to double it” SCAM!!! Save your time and money and go to The Great Burrito in Edgewater, much better food and way more generous.

I seen the great reviews so wanted to give this spot a try. I ordered online and my meal was the vegan tacos and a side of chips and salsa. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked up and they had minimal outdoor and indoor seating. I got a warm welcome from a very nice restaurant worker. I told him my name and he grabbed my food. I had to sort through the food before I left. When I got home I tried the food and I was a little disappointed. The chips were rock hard but the salsa was good. I had to throw away a majority of them. The vegan tacos were meh. I put a little of the hot sauce and boy was it overpowering. I wasn’t too pleased with this meal but I would be willing to try something else on a cheat day.

Highly recommend the bowls here–good servings and many ways to customize. Personally, I like the tinga bowl best. The restaurant also has Jarritos and other soft drinks. There’s outdoor seating available, and the atmosphere in general is nice (though the restaurant itself is on the smaller side). There is a small parking lot behind the restaurant and parking spaces along the street (some are metered).

Hola amigos. This place looks very traditionalike taco place and good outside seating. Feels like I was in new york. Unfortunately i tasted much better tacos in ny. But within the area, place is pretty good. Chicken casedia was very nicely cooked and delicious. Taco itself was not bad but could be better. Had little pig scent when my pork taco came out and taco dough was little paperlike feeling. Other than that it was not too bad. Gracias de mucho.

This is my go to taco place in New Jersey. The food is delicious and affordable and the staff are some the friendliest people you will ever meet. I really like their raja and fish tacos. The shop only has a few small tables but you are allowed to use the seats at the shop next door too. Parking in this area is very scarce though.

Ordered from them last week, the pozole tasted sour, the rice from the rice and beans were dry. I called them and told them, they said no problem next time you order call us. I started to place an order today. I called them as they suggested, the owner was extremely rude telling me that he called every customer and asked if they liked the soup and he claims they had no complaints. He claims I am the only customer who has complained about ordering from there, I highly doubt this. I won’t ever order from here again and recommend if anyone does order that they use Uber eats or grubhub to have recourse if the quality is poor. I grew up in the restaurant business and know when something tastes off. I stopped ordering from here a while ago when he was rude, gave them another chance. Not giving them business again. There are better restaurants in the area that aren’t rude. I wish I took a picture of the food from last week but I trusted he would make it right on the next order.

Absolutely loved it! Went here with my fiancé specifically because they serve vegan options and they did not disappoint. Incredibly fresh and delicious flavors. Very friendly and fast service. Super small, only about 8 seats, but the authenticity and deliciousness of the Mexican cuisine served here is well worth the visit. We will definitely be back!

I had a torta “La Grande” it was nicely made and delicious. The guy in the front is attentive. Only thing I didn’t like is you don’t get offered nachos to pick like other Mexican places. Price is higher than other spots
