A MUST if you’re looking for some delicious food while in Coconut Grove. We went here one night and were quickly seated outside. While it was quite busy, our server took the time to explain the menu, provide recs and also just connect with us which was very nice. He was super knowledgeable when it came to all things corn and the thoughtfully sourced ingredients at the restaurant. We got the fish of the day prepared with some kind of mole and it was beyond incredible. We were blown away. The salsas they provided were also so amazing we had to order more.

Had a wonderful experience here with my husband for our anniversary! Our waiter Izy was very personable, sharing the history and culture with us and suggesting great options. The chips cooked in beef tallow set the mood for the tasty experience we would have. The hazelnut mole with the tamal was one of my favorite parts of the meal. Followed by the corn Dumplings, which was all around amazing in flavor.

My family and I had an amazing experience at this Mexican restaurant! My favorite dish was the Tacos Al Pastor. Not only did they have an amazing taste and texture to them, but the proportions were perfect. Additionally, the dish brought with it their Mexican Molcajete Sauce. Overall I would recommend stopping by this restaurant for both a great experience and food

Los Félix, already having a fantastic reputation to begin with, still exceeded my own. From the very welcoming host (my apologies, I never asked for your name!), and the numerous employees who welcomed me upon my l arrival, I’d have to say I felt very at home. Ariel, my server, after bringing my first of what felt like 100 pours of water (he was on his game!), did a great job at describing in detail every plate I asked about. The portions were much bigger than I thought they’d be for a restaurant of this caliber, although not the massive portions you’d expect from the usual Mexican restaurant. John, the owner, also came by to say hello and ask how my evening was. To say it was excellent, would be an understatement. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying a brand new round of plates I didn’t have this to around. Excellent service, excellent food, and all in all an excellent evening. Thank you, Los Félix.

Very loud inside with tables close together. Had to sit outside because I couldn’t hear my partner even talking. The servers were excellent with checking on us and refilling our water. However, the food was truly not Michelin level compared to the other restaurants I have experienced. The concepts, plating, and depth of flavors were unremarkable. I would never come back here and the bill was outrageous for what was delivered.

They take 18% of service charge without your consent. The restaurant is always very busy and it makes you want to check them out. Apparently, they have a Michelin chef in the kitchen. Have to say that the portion of each dish is so tiny and you could easily order two dishes for each person. The price is all so high. Even a drink. The cheapest you find is $14. It is overrated for what it is. Tables are so close to one another and felt bothered when I had to have eye contacts many times with the person sitting next to our table. The menu is hard to understand. They say that the ingredients are special but cannot tell the difference anyway.

We had a girls night dinner here and it was delicious. We sat outside and it was quite busy! The drinks were tasty and not overly sweet. The food came out in waves and each dish better than the last. We really enjoyed the corn grits and the grilled octopus. I think we shared a total of 8-10 dishes between the 4 of us. Service was also great.

The food was fresh and good. They definitely specialize in corn. Service was a bit slow and inconsistent. Some tables got more attention than others. Gratuity is already included in the check. Pricey menu but that’s to be expected in the Grove these days. I would go back and try other dishes. I had the crudo and arepa but many dishes looked interesting. The watermelon juice tasted a bit stale and pre-mixed, however.

Definitely worth the hype. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. Waiter was quick to take our drink orders and explain the menu. We got 3 dishes per couple and guacamole and totopos to share. The totopos (tortilla chips) were incredible—thick, crunchy and the perfect bite-size. The beer michelada was delicious with just the right amount of spice. My favorite dish was the Crudo wow. The chef kindly modified the Arepa by substituting the pork for mushrooms to make it vegetarian; it was very tasty. I didn’t love the cauliflower dish tbh, wasn’t exciting for me comparatively. Prices are definitely a bit high for Mexican food, but Los Felix certainly elevates simple dishes to another level. I didn’t have time to check out the market upstairs but saw tons of people coming down towards the end of the night and they looked happy. Would definitely come back for special occasions. Lastly, it’s located in the heart of Coconut Grove, so there’s tons to do before and after your visit to the restaurant.

We stopped by on a Sunday night without having a reservation, the hostess graciously suggested we wait at the bar while she tried to accommodate us. The place was filled with people and all of the tables seemed to be reserved. We were lucky to finally get a table for two. It was worth the wait. The Michellin ⭐️ took us by surprise as prices are not expensive at all. Food was delicious from appetizers to dessert. The menu is limited but everything we had was just fantastic. They take pride in their ingredients and it shows in the presentation and explanation. Service was fabulous. It’s a small place so I suggest to make reservation to avoid a long wait. We will come back soon.
