Found this little gem on Google, and boy, we were glad we did! The food was amazing, the service was very friendly, and we had just flown in from snow and 24° temps, so eating outside was a bonus! I told my wife that if we lived here, Jambados would be a regular stop for us! I highly recommend you give it a try.

WAKE UP. These are the best tacos in Hays County. The prices? Unbeatable whether this was 2023 or 2003. The options? Literally tried every one and they’re all some of the best prepared meats I’ve had from a food truck. Speaking of, the birria? Should be illegal its too good. I shed a tear for every person in San Marcos that drives pass this amazing local food spot to waste money and taste buds on Fuego or Torchy’s. They’ll get my money until I stop breathing. If you ever had a dream of opening a food spot, take a tip from whatever magic they’re doing here at Los Jambados.

This place is amazing. Got to watch them turn it from an empty lot to an awesome little food truck spot. The food is delicious and they’re very generous with the portion sizes. Had an asada torta that changed the course of my week it was so delicious. Can’t recommend enough.

I just found this gem a couple of weeks ago and have already been back twice. They have excellent food and reasonable prices. There is even a shaded picnic area if you want to dine on site. I highly recommend it.
