I had the #22 combo plate & my husband had the fried catfish and shrimp dinner. Absolutely delicious & the queso and salsa was fresh & so yummy!! Our waitress was amazing & we’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in town

Travelling with family and stopped here on way through Texas. Horrible food, tastes like it came out of a package and was just warmed up. Tamales are not authentic. I ordered taquitos Mexicano and this is what they brought out to me.

This is NOT mexican food, a problem with most “mexican” restaurants in the Houston/Piney woods area. I ordered the chicken tacos and got burritos. Literally chopped chicken and a tortilla. No lettuce, tomato, avocado, sour cream or anything. Just chicken in a rolled tortilla. Ridiculous!!!

Hands down best rice and beans I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Was a little disappointed the chicken enchiladas had fajita meat instead of shredded chicken but the chicken was so tender and delicious I didn’t mind. Friendly service to boot

If you’re traveling on hwy 59 this place is great to break the hamburger monotony. I arrived here on a Sunday morning before the after-church crowd hit it. Overall it’s good, and I suppose if you are regularly in Diboll, Texas then you really don’t have extensive options when it comes to Mexican food. There is nothing outstanding or spectacular about the facility, and that’s fine. The food here is good. The chip and salsa combo that is served to you before your food comes up is just ok. Don’t bother eating the chips and salsa because their main dishes are the real attraction. If you are not feeling especially hungry, then you can get the charro beans and those are excellent. They put in a more than adequate portions of pork belly or bacon in the beans and that gives them a really hearty flavor. The rest of food served there I would say is average/comparable to any good Mexican restaurant you would find in Houston. I would come back again.

Well my 1st time eating at this restaurant and it was an order I placed on the phone for pick up. My food (chimichanga) was great, husbands was not good because of red sauce on his shrimp enchiladas which is not what I thought they put on them nor did he but he ate them anyway. The $5 guacamole was underwhelming to say the least. Just a overly smushed up avocado mixed with a diced tomato. I am pretty sure it had no salt or lime or taste! Any who, I fixed it when I arrived home. The part that is upsetting to me is the amount I paid for this underwhelming lunch. Almost $40 for the food with NO itemized ticket letting me know the breakdown of the prices per item. I really feel like I was overcharged because they knew I was new to the restaurant.
