The best hole in the wall carnitas restaurant in Long Beach, call ahead to make sure they have what you want, sometimes they run out early because of their popularity sadly to say it happened to me once, I love everything they make specially the cueritos, they are full of flavor and not chewy at all just right.

The cashier ( who was a lady ) was very rude when entering the building , she scoff at us which was very rude considering we were buying food from that place , and the man who was handling the food SHOULD wear gloves especially when giving the food , he was very rude throwing the meat inside as you can see he didn’t close well enough the lid which splatter everywhere . The food is good but service is always bad . For the lady who was the cashier you should know manners when clients your restaurant and not be so rude and unkind !

I give 2 because of the service, they all so rude. Special the cashier. Portions are very low on the onions and cilantro,. I mean Im buying 3 pounds of carnitas and they just want give to you a small portion of the sides, and if you ask for more they give you attitude. And also always have the same issue with my salsa, I always ask for green salsa and they give me red, I told them I ask for green and again they give it with attitude. . Food is good, so sad with the people working here, they don’t know how to treat the customers.

To start off this place doesn’t show you their food grade letter, meaning are they even allowed to be selling? Strange because upon ordering you’re asked to wait outside, no indoor seating. The female behind the counter didn’t have the best attitude when asked if things could be added or substituted. The food itself was way too oily and super heavy on your stomach. Best bet is to order by the pound and prepare your meal from home.
