This place is great! Lot of locals there. Don’t understand the few bad reviews. Service, food, ambience good. Ok, Burrito was plated cold, but was fixed quickly. Bisteck Ranchero was awesome. Next table saw it and ordered also and was happy. Try it, I think you may like it. Probably the most fairly priced and better quality meal than most in Tahoe.

Great little find right across from where we are staying. Very quaint and friendly staff as we showed up as a group of 12 and able to eat outside (we just beat the rush). Food was delicious and fresh and portions were big. Would definitely go back. I had the carne asada and my wife the camarones rancheros and both were excellent.

This was my second option for Mexican food but should have been my first! The food was SO tasty! I’m vegetarian and they could make anything on their menu vegetarian. I got the veggie fajitas and omg they were the best! Hands down I’ve never had veggies fajitas like that before, the flavor was to die for. Very authentic taste, agua de Jamaica was very good, not super sweet and very pronounced taste my friend got the chicken burrito, he said it was delicious and very filling. I don’t recommend the chips and salsa, just not my favorite salsa or quality of chips. Order a different appetizer or just jump straight to the entree, they were very filling either way. The service was very friendly and they were attentive to everything I needed and requested. As a Mexican vegetarian I was so happy eating here and I hope to come back next time in town. Thanks for the fire food guys!

The salsa bar with freshly charred/grilled jalapenos says it all but then they keep talking with delicious carnitas, amazing home made chips, Mexican tallboy bottled cokes, the full range of fresh delicious salsas. The only thing they’re missing for perfection would be hand made tortillas but now I’m just quibbling.
