Really incredible Mexican brunch buffet spot that is also truly a hole in the wall. Located on Tucson’s far southwest side, this spot is authentic as it can get. We went on a Sunday morning and it was packed. They have indoor and outdoor seating, but rest assured it’ll feel like you’re eating outside. The floor here is dirt and the interior is unfinished. None of that matters. What matters is the food rocks. They have a wide variety of Mexican items and a few American ones like pancakes. All of it was great. This place helped me get over my fear of Mexican buffets after a gross experience in El Paso. The staff were also really friendly and this place was cheap.

The food was amazing!!! Best authentic Mexican food. The menudo was probably some of the best I ever had!. The ladies were so super sweet, kind, and helpful. They made your feel welcomed. They were also always cleaning the buffet area making sure it stayed clean

It’s probably some of the most authentic carne asada tacos I have had. The bean and cheese quesadilla was amazing and the salsa bar was great! Clean and comfortable atmosphere, it was nice and cool inside and you can smell the aromas of the meat cooking from the street.

If your ever around Mission & Drexel just behind Chico’s smoke shop you need to try some taco’s and menudo at Los Mezquites. It really doesn’t get anymore authentic then this. Very friendly service and awesome food. We will definitely be returning.

This place stated our as a little cart and now has grown quite a bit. If you’re looking for nice linen tables and fancy dishes, this is not the place for you. The building looks to be self constructed as d there is no floor…. just dirt. Don’t let that scare you tho, the food is excellent! The portions for the price you pay abs the flavor is very unique. The carne asada burro was flavorful and enough for tray meals! This place reminds me of many restaurants in Mexico because of the lack of your standard interior, but lots of times you find the best food and friends in places like these, so I definitely recommend!

We had the breakfast buffet and I will say it was amazing. The customer service was fantastic, it felt like I was visiting family. Hands down 5 stars.

This is a great spot for Carne Asada tacos or anything else on the menu. Always friendly service. Some would call the atmosphere rustic, with a dirt floor and metal picnic bench seating. The covered dining area is a fairly recent expansion and leaving it roughly finished just feels right.

It was a little hot inside due to having very little air circulation and the amount of people inside, but the food and service was fantastic. Prices are good for what you can choose to eat at the buffet
