First time trying this place. Pretty empty when we arrived. We tried the Yolandas and chori pollo. The enchiladas were bland and could have really used more salsa verde and seasoning in general. They chori pollo was good. All elements came together and were great when scooped up with the tortilla.

What a disappointment, and that says a lot because going in, my expectations were not that high. The waitress seemed irritated to wait on us. The Big Burrito (pictured) was slightly warm but I dug in despite the tepid temperature. My companion sent her a la carte burritos back because they were cold. There was no response from the waitress. Sadly, this will be my one and only visit to this establishment. Not many choices in this area but I feel better off going to the Publix next door to get my own burrito ingredients. You are probably better off doing the same. As I write this, my napkin has been on my plate as I wait for the bill. There is no sign of the waitress even though we are only one of two tables filled in the entire restaurant.

I also am shocked by the lower star ratings. This is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant. I’m picky when it comes to the way my meat is cooked and seasoned and I love their food. My all time favorite is the chicken pastor, second favorite is the grilled chicken salads. They are EXTREMELY accommodating, we showed up at closing and they still served us , it was delicious and fresh. I felt bad for keeping them past closing??? I would highly recommend them.

My first experience was pretty good. I’m from the west coast so Mexican food is a lot different. This was good though. My food could have been a little warmer. Guacamole was excellent. We decided to go back last week and was pleased we were the only ones there, caught them early before the rush. We sat down and were handed our menus. During this time two other tables were seated, we still hadn’t been given even water and we were quite thirsty. I noticed one group had been served some beverages and then the second group had also. We tried flagging our server over for some drinks. By this time 12 minutes had gone by, she just shook her head at us, not quite sure what that was about because we surely were polite and had never seen this woman before. We decided it was time to leave. Take our business elsewhere. Food was cold last time anyways and so were the stale chips we had stuck in our throats while we waited for when some water. It’s not like you were busy. Sadly we’ll continue to go down the street where the service is phenomenal

Food is great. Really. And I would go weekly if I thought I was not a burden by walking in the door. Horrible service. Cold demeanor. Server was basically a no-show. Had to walk to the bar for a tea refill. Manager had a knowing, apologetic look but still nothing changed. Made a late appearance to ask “everything good?” while we were chewing a mouthful and quickly left. All the workers seemed to favor the bar and patio areas and left the dining room abandoned. Noticed the same with couple of other tables. The food is worth returning for but the service atmosphere keeps me away.

I have mixed experiences at this place. Sometimes the food is good. But the last time I ate there, the salsa was super salty and looked more like ketchup or plain tomato sauce. We complained but were told there was only one main batch of salsa so it could not be replaced with better salsa. Considering this restaurant is located right next to Publix, better salsa was readily available to replace the bad batch. Also, I love good guacamole, but this restaurant serves store bought guac which is not the same! Usually good service but sometimes you get ignored. It is nice to sit on the outdoor patio. This place could use some food quality improvement and more consistent service levels to bring it up to par. Prices are reasonable. If they offered freshly made salsa and guacamole, I would be a regular customer! And myself and others don’t mind paying for fresh versions of salsa and guac. These are key items that need to be fresh at a Mexican restaurant for me.
