Had been here before and found that the atmosphere was typical for a Mexican restaurant. The food was good. I had gotten a chimichanga the first time. I didn’t care for the cheese sauce they used. So this time when I got a taco salad, I asked for shredded cheese instead of the cheese sauce. It was better. My brother ordered the fajita jalisco, which he had ordered before, and liked it. My sister ordered the chimichanga and ordered it with shredded cheese instead of the cheese sauce and she thought it was very good. I would recommend the restaurant. We all had margaritas and they were excellent.

I always love the food!! However every time I go there the price seems to change For the same item I order. One time I added lettuce cheese and tomato and they said that was the reason so the next time I went in I had just onion and salantro and it was even more and the excuse given to me was maybe they didn’t charge you for to go containers last time. I noticed they’re trying hard to make the place presentable however the wood bark along the registercounter and the bar is filled with food bits and dust and God knows what else so do yourself a favor and don’t sit at the bar or lean on the counter by the register.

Food is average at best. I don’t recommend anything because it’s not very good. Bland. I had 2 hard shell tacos and they were full of grease and no seasoning. 2 of us had dinner. It was $63. Bland food and expensive.

I heard they had great food, but maybe when it was still “Jose’s” restaurant. Now it’s “los morales” and since I’ve been there, I’ve talked to a couple of people that said the same thing. I went there w/ my father-in-law and husband, so we all had different dishes and everything we had a sauce on it, and it was kinda hard to tell which dish was what because of all the sauce. The waitress was great, very friendly, as was the staff.

I ordered a combination plate ,it came served with hamburger ,which I had not ordered. Long story short I don’t eat hamburger so it was not eaten. I went hungry while everyone else ate . Service was slow and disorganized. Place was hot and dirty, flies buzzing around and debris littering under the table where we sat. Worst Mexican restaurant I’ve ate at.
